The door creaks open. I see a figure standing in front of me.
Blue eyes, black hair, fair skin, pink lips.
My stepmom.
She ties her hair with a black hair tie.
She comes forward, but I crawl back.
"Moon!" she exclaims.
For the last several years, she has tried her best to love me, but I can't forget the fact that my actual mom is dead.
I can't love anyone like that.
"Get. Out. Of. My. Room." I shout.
She tries to touch me, but I take out the knife lying in my pocket and point it towards her face.
She surrenders and quietly moves out of the room. "Close the door," I order her like she is my servant. Well, she is not less than a servant to me.
A tear escapes from my burning eyes. Mom, I miss you.
I start packing up my bag, mostly stuffing it with novels and snacks.
I carefully slide a chocolate through the side pocket of my bag.
There are four fair notebooks and five books โ English, Maths, Physics, Biology, and History.
Today is the first day of my school. Well, this is my second school, but it feels like I am going to my former school.
It must be because my routine hasn't changed in 15 years.
Get up. Get ready. Go to school. Come back. Lunch. Dinner. Sleep.
