Prologue
MY NAME IS LYRIC LOCKHEART, and I am 18 years old. I used to live in Scythe City before a powerful pharmaceutical company called The Red System Corporation turned everyone into zombies.
See, when I was a baby, they injected me with an anti-virus: The Blue Piron. They called it their CO2 experiment. When the zombie outbreak happened, my twin brother, Zero, and I were visiting my sick aunt in the hospital. My older brother, Mark, rescued us. He ran away as a teenager, and his group: The M.O.O.N. or The Military Officers Ordinance Nine.
His boss sent them in to retrieve the virus and anti-virus, which was me. Some guy within the Red System Corp. named Cruz helped us escape, and Mark immediately placed me into witness protection, giving me a new identity.
I was starting my life over, and this is how I became a vampire...
