Mia Belongs To Me

Hi all you lovely readers; we are back with book two. Mia Belongs to Me. I have had wonderful, sad, and happy times writing these books. I hope I did this one justice with part two. The process is the same: we start with the hook, then the breakdown, then the disclaimer, then chapter one starts. I am, as always, open to any feedback. Happy reading.

I closed the distance between us. I didn’t speak. I just scooped her up, one arm under her knees, the other around her back, hoisting her over my shoulder like a sack of grain. I grabbed her tiny clutch bag from the table with my free hand.

She erupted. “PUT ME DOWN! MIN-HO! YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE! LET ME GO!”

She kicked; she screamed; she pounded her fists against my back. The entire club was watching. I didn’t care. I carried her through the gaping crowd, past the bouncers, out into the cool night air. I dumped her unceremoniously into the passenger seat of the car, slammed the door, and got in, hitting the child locks.

The drive home was a symphony of her fury. She screamed, she cried, and she called me every name in the book. I drove in stony silence. The moment the car stopped in the garage, she flung the door open and rushed into the house, still spewing venom.

“YOU HAD NO RIGHT TO DO THAT! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?! I’M NOT YOUR PROPERTY!”

I followed her into the living room. Kyle was standing now, his game forgotten, his face pale with shock.

“Mia, calm down,” I said, my voice low and dangerous, the control I’d maintained all week finally snapping.

“CALM DOWN? YOU DRAGGED ME OUT OF A CLUB LIKE A CAVEMAN!”

“I know!” I roared back, the sound making her flinch. Kyle took a step back. “I know you hate me! Fight me! But I am not letting anyone touch you! Not ever again! Do you understand that?!”
