Summary

Coreen thought she had finally escaped. After leaving the company where her former boss tried to harass her, and her co-workers helped him, she believed the nightmare was over. But she was wrong. Because the new boss she would work for was far more dangerous... and impossible to resist. Desperate to save her sick younger sibling, Coreen accepts an indecent proposal from her mysterious boss, a job that goes far beyond cleaning his mansion. One sinful decision that changes everything. As Royce's live-in maid, Coreen is pulled into a new world overflowing with temptation, forbidden pleasures, and sensations she never imagined herself craving. Every touch blurs the line between duty and desire. But Royce is a man of mystery. Cold, enigmatic, and dangerously controlling, he keeps parts of himself locked behind closed doors—and the more Coreen uncovers about him, the more she realizes there's a terrifying reason why no maid stayed longer than a month. In a world where money can buy obedience, pleasure, and silence, how much of herself is Coreen willing to surrender? And what happens when the man who introduced her to sin becomes the very reason for her destruction?

Chapter 1: Saved by a Stranger

"The boss wants to sleep with you."

Coreen's eyes lazily roam around the club, watching drunk people lose their minds because they don't know their limit, strangers grinding against each other on the floor, and couples making out without a care in the world.

"Tell me something that I don't know." She remarked flatly, wanting nothing but to leave because that kind of place isn't for her.

She was already looking forward to spending the evening with her younger sister when her co-workers dragged her to the club for a 'company dinner'.

Now she is stuck with her co-workers and some of them are obviously tolerating her attitude. Coreen made it known from the start that she won't be easily bullied, so they distanced themselves from her.

Their sudden interest in her made her suspicious.

"Why don't you grab it, Coreen? This might be your chance." Jenny, the one sitting beside her, nudged her as if they have been friends for years.

"Right? I heard you have a sick sister," Maria, Jenny's friend, agreed, crossing her legs, showing her porcelain skin to their male co-workers who started drooling. "If it was me, I'd grab the opportunity. Pride won't get you anywhere. Morals won't feed your family."

Coreen slammed the shot glass on the table, startling everyone in the circle. Her sharp doe eyes shifted from one face to another until her eyes settled on the 'boss' they were referring to. A balding old man with a bulging belly, and worst of all, he was already married with three children.

He was sitting with the other executives, but his eyes lingered on her. Those perverted gaze that follows her everywhere, stripping her naked, violating her in so many ways she couldn't take.

She was only tolerating it because as his secretary, the salary was higher than normal.

"Morals won't get you anywhere, but it will break a family, don't you think?" She retorted, taking her eyes away from the perverted old man and shivering in disgust.

"Come on, Coreen. Just give the man what he wants. Who knows? Maybe he'll stop for one night." Joe, a male co-worker of hers who has probably fucked half of the female population in the company, interjected with a cocky look on his face.

Finally having enough of their nonsense, she rose from her seat and grabbed her bag.

"Have fun forgetting your morals... or whatever."

Jenny sneered at her while Maria glared at her but she ignored them.

"She really thinks she's something, huh? She probably thinks her pussy is worth a million." Joe spoke when she walked past him, making me stop in her tracks.

Coreen heaved a sigh, poking her cheek with her tongue and trying to control her temper.

"What a loser."

That's it. That is her last straw before her two-inches heel dug on his foot, and his scream filled the whole club.

"You bitch!" Joe cried painfully and clutched his hurt foot.

Coreen only smiled at him before turning her back and moving towards the exit again. She was about to move when she felt something she couldn't explain.

Like a penetrating stare on her back but it wasn't the type of stare that her boss gives her, no. This one made her feel the intensity of the stare.

Coreen looked around but did not find anyone. She thought she just imagined it, so she hurried to the exit, determined to leave the place at once.

The exit door was within reach when she was dragged by multiple hands. Her mouth was covered to muffle her screams. They dragged her to a secluded room, and she couldn't do anything because fighting back was futile.

Coreen was shoved in a private room with a bed inside, and she didn't want to imagine what it was used for.

The co-workers she ditched stood before her, blocking her exit, determined to keep her there.

"What do you think you're doing?!" She shouted, standing on her feet and trying to push past them, but they only shoved her back.

"Come on, Coreen. Just close your eyes or something. It will be over before you know it." Jenny told her, and made a show of throwing her bag where her phone is, somewhere.

Maria scoffed beside her. "Who knows? She might end up enjoying it?" She sneered and grabbed Coreen's hair roughly. "You should have listened to us."

"Think of this as helping us, Coreen. Please? We have families to feed to. The boss said he'll promote us if he can have you." Justin, another co-worker of hers pleaded, as if what he was asking for was that simple.

Joe limped his way over to her and Coreen gasped when he struck her in the face, and she instantly tasted blood in her mouth.

"Good luck, bitch." He smirked at her and Coreen panicked when they turned to leave.

"No!" She screamed, attempting to stand up when her world suddenly spun and she collapsed on the ground.

What's happening to her?

Coreen suddenly remembered the alcohol they eagerly gave her and she drank it, not thinking much of it.

"No! Don't leave me!" She dragged herself to the door but they only laughed at her and shut the door. "N-No." She whimpered and looked around for another escape but her eyes were starting to blur.

Coreen gasped in horror when the door opened again, but this time, her boss was the one who entered.

"I'm sorry it has to reach this point, Coreen." The man's gruff voice said and Coreen made a sound of disgust when his rough hand caressed her skin. "It's your fault for pushing me away. I only want to bond with my secretary, you know?"

"Get away from me." She hissed weakly and tried to crawl away but Gerard pulled her closer and she cried out when he spread her legs apart.

"No!"

Coreen kicked him, clawed at his face with what little strength he had, but she was slowly losing control over her body. Whatever they fed her, it made her body feel numb but her mind is still conscious.

"That's more like it." The disgusting man laughed at her vulnerability.

Tears escaped her eyes as Coreen laid on the cold floor. She shut her eyes tightly and just prayed it would be over soon so she could go home and see her sister.

But before Gerard could violate her, the door was kicked open and through her blurry eyes, she saw a man before her boss was dragged off her.

She heard them fighting but everything else faded. She was only relieved that she was saved. She thanked God that he hasn't forgotten her.

The room was dark so Coreen could only see his silhouette. He was standing before her, towering over her motionless body, a dark, mysterious aura surrounding him.

He then crouched beside her and Coreen flinched when she felt a gloved hand touching her face.

"You're safe... for now." His deep, hoarse yet comforting voice whispered, and Coreen almost didn't hear it.

His words confused her, but she didn't have the time to think about it before darkness claimed her.

The question is... is he really a savior or a potential tormentor?
