Prologue
Ten years ago, a meteor entered Earth's orbit but it never reached the ground. It exploded in the sky. For a moment, night turned into day. A blinding light covered the entire world, seen by every living soul. No sound, no warning, just light. Days later, things began to change.
People reported strange sensations, burning veins, vivid dreams, voices in their heads. Then came the impossible. Some could control fire. Others bent the wind, healed wounds, or moved objects without touching them. Some powers were beautiful. Others are terrifying. Governments tried to contain it. Scientists tried to explain it. But there was no stopping what humanity had become. They called it The Resonant.
Now, ten years later, magic is no longer rare it's everywhere. Power defines status. Strength decides survival. And across the world, massive tournaments are held to discover the strongest among them all. Power rules this world. And at the top, only one remains. Thousands enter, few survive. The Rift, a dimension connect to other world also start appearing and Resonant duty to close the Rift to avoid danger to the outside world. Therefore guilds has been made, compete whose sronger. The Resonant Association is the one that controls the peace of the nation and more over the guilds.
Monster also start appearing at the Rift and it was the Resonants duty to stop them and protect the innocent. But Resonants is more dangerous than the monsters, the urge to kill and know whos stronger has been always in our human nature.
