This is a slow-burn romance, but not the kind where you all have to wait for ages. The connection builds naturally between the characters. Our female MC has gone through trauma, so her journey with trust and physical intimacy will take time .I wanted it to feel real and respectful to her story. I am a very romantic person and this story leans into emotional subtlety and micro-moments, those quiet pauses, glances, and unspoken exchanges where characters communicate more without words than with them. The aim is to keep things realistic, grounded, and emotionally authentic. If this is something you don't like, please be aware.

Half of the story is set in Media company. I've done some research, but I'm still learning how everything works, so thank you in advance if anything isn't 100% accurate.

The story follows a cross-cultural romance between a white male MC and Indian (our Desi girl) female MC. I really love mixing cultures in stories.It adds so much depth. Yes, Also, that's why I love "Bridgerton" and i love our Kanthony.

Also, this story likes to wander a little. It's a mix of genres but don't worry, romance is very much in charge here. Please be patience with first few chapters before it picks up the pace.

Most importantly:

this is not a flashy, fast-paced billionaire romance. Romance is still very much at the heart of the story, but this book leans more into emotional tension, healing, yearning, restraint, and the slow unraveling of two people who were never expecting to become important to each other.
