I was just a soft going girl unbothered with the struggle of life,I mean life didn't end when I found out my mother tried killing me before I was born and actually stop breastfeeding me at a month old,life didn't stop moving when I realized just like my mother everyone thinks am a bad omen.Everyone except my father.
Adekanmi olarenwaju, my big supporter,my pillar so even now when everyone look at me with disdain he came rushing in with tears in his worried eyes,

He assured but the next words from the stern looking female sergeant give me the doubt.
“I think you should save yourself any explanation,the petition from the passerby has gotten to the higher up so this case is going to court you should start preparing for a good lawyer,you will be needing one if you wish to get out of this mess.”She said.
More tears welled up in my father eyes, his grip on my shoulder went slack and for a second Adekanmi Olarenwaju look like a boy.lost.
“Petition?,higher what?,you have got it all wrong there's no way my daughter will kill anyone you need to look into this well.”
“You can as well come and teach us our duty,Miss Adekanmi Adedunni, move this way.”
the female sergeant snarl at my dad angrily.
I feel the floor of the room tilt and could almost hear the courtroom echoes with the judge gravel as the cold metal of the handcuffs met with my skin,more tears well up in my eyes,two other Sergeants lead me out of the room with my father pleading profusely, stepping out of the room into the open space, I shivered not from the cold chilly wind but from the numerous eyes of the students present all attention on me their whispers and comments whizz past with the wind hitting me like a stray drop of angry rain you know the one that makes you feel like you are being beaten.

The rest of the comments whizz past my ear as I entered the police van with the sergeants my father feeling so hopeless,more fresh tears overwhelmed me as we zoom out of the compound.

I feel so hopeless as I found my way out my daughter school,my sunshine was taken by the police and I couldn't do anything to save her. I'm so mad at my self I feel so useless, it's enough life is treating me this way but my daughter doesn't deserve this,she deserves the best happiness of life.
I flag down a tricycle going to Ayedele station as soon as I got to the bustop.

“Adedunni the only thing that can help you is to come out clean,why did you kill Mr.Kazeem?”,a friendly looking female sergeant asked after making me settle down in the interrogation room.
“God bear my witness ma,I didn't kill him.”i answered for like the umpteenth time today.
“But you were the last person seen with him and also an eyewitness said she saw you pushed him.”
“i did push him but that was because he was trying to harrased me.” I explained.
“Our investigation said you do drop by at his ice cream stall whenever you are coming back from school where late mr.Kazeeem would always offer you a free yoghurt milk even there was a time he paid for your textbook when you lost the money at his front of his stall,so tell me why would a nice man who has been nothing but caring toward you try to do that?”.
I sobed silently,how I wish I know to he's one of the few people who like me in Ayedele town or maybe I was just not obvious to his ulterior motives.
“Am telling you the truth ma,lately before that fateful day he has been acting strange and throwing me some improper body languages,when he offered me milk yogurt he would asked me to thank him properly I'm eighteen I knew what that meant I made it know to him I don't like his sudden behaviour but he refused to stop not until that day when he grab my wrist I told him to stop at three attempts then he grab my butt so I...I pushed h...

“I pushed him out of annoyance but I didn't ma...i can't” I said tearing up again.
“I see you are not ready.”she said and called one of the male sergeants to put me back in the cell,I sat lonely in the cold dark room of the four walls,I dread what's going to happen next,I didn't even have the strength to weep anymore. I tried closing my tired eyes to get some sleep, but I only keep seeing the limp body of Mr.Kazeem,the sound of his body hitting the ground colliding with a sound that sounded almost like someone blewing out a candle fast,fwip.That must have be my breath...well now am not even sure.
What if I really killed him?,my hand was still sweating so much from pushing him.i didn't mean to push him that hard I was only trying to make him stop oh God.

I took another good look look at my environment again and a sense of deja Vu hit me,I stared at the golden gate contemplating if I should go in or not, I had change my mind at the last minute before getting to the station, seeing my daughter in that vulnerable state one more time again will just kill me,just the thought of it enough earn another lone tear from my eyes,I sigh and bring out my cellphone,I stared too long at the number.I have to do this I can't let my own pride cost me my daughter sanity,I have no one else to run to she's my only hope right now.
I gathered all the courage I have left and dialed the number it rings through and ends after some seconds I should know better,on a normal day I wouldn't bother to call again but my daughter life is at stake I need to swallow my pride if I have any left though.
I sent a text message and tried her line again,this time she picked,her cold posh voice follows.
“Yes”
“Hey..it's me,my daughter...our daughter...she's in trouble.
