Seventeen-year-old Elias Vayne watches his village burn beneath a blood-red sunset. Masked pirates bearing black banners massacre soldiers and civilians alike, searching for an ancient map. Elias's father, a lighthouse keeper, dies protecting an old compass, telling his son only four words:
"Find... God's Eye... first."
The compass points toward no ordinary north.
