Summary

Sometimes, losing someone feels like losing a part of yourself. For years, Tripti Pandey had been known as Isha Dwivedi's best friend. Until one small misunderstanding changed everything. Suddenly, the person who had been beside her since childhood was gone—and Tripti was left trying to figure out who she was without her. Between painful memories, family expectations, whispered comparisons, and days that feel impossible to get through, Tripti slowly begins to lose herself. Until Aalankrit enters her life. He isn't loud. He isn't the kind of person everyone notices. But somehow, he notices her. He doesn't promise to fix her. He simply stays. And sometimes, healing doesn't begin when someone saves you. Sometimes, it begins when someone reminds you that you were never truly lost. A story about friendship, heartbreak, healing, and the people who find us when we can no longer find ourselves. 🤎✨

Author's note

Dear Reader,

Thank you for opening these pages. This story is for anyone who has loved deeply, lost quietly, and still found the strength to keep going. If you find a piece of yourself in Tripti's journey, I hope you also find hope. May this story remind you that healing isn't forgetting - it's learning to smile while carrying the memories that shaped you.

Before You Begin

Some people enter our lives to stay while,

some arrive only to teach us something before they leave.

This is not a story about villains or heroes.

It is a story about friendship, heartbreak, healing, and the quiet courage it takes to keep moving forward when life changes without warning.

If you've ever lost someone you thought would stay forever, I hope you find a piece of yourself within these pages.

Obsidian: He's hilarious. Like, actually. I loved it. You're writing style is great, although you could do with a few less murmurs and mutters. I know it sounds critical, but I have the same problem and I hate it. Overall, it was one of the best stories I've read on here so far. I liked it better than those M...
