For as long as anyone can remember, Foggy Bottom has been shrouded in more than just dense, rolling mist—it has been trapped under the iron fist of a dictator.
Mayor Humdinger rules the town through sheer intimidation, ensuring that no citizen ever dares to challenge his authority or run against him in an election. Those who try are quickly silenced. Under his regime, the streets are empty by nightfall. The Kitten Catastrophe Crew—his fiercely loyal, clawed enforcers—patrol the alleyways, pushing terrified residents back into their homes to maintain strict, mandatory curfews. Fear is the law of the land, and Humdinger’s word is absolute.
But a dictatorship only lasts until someone is brave enough to stand up to it.
As the cold wind whips across the water, I stand at the bow of a ship cutting through the waves from Adventure Bay, steering directly into the heart of the mist. I am coming to challenge his rule, to give the people a voice, and to run against him for the sake of the city's future. The reign of the top hat is about to face its toughest race.
