Episode 1: Under an Attack

The early morning breeze drifted lazily through the towering windows of the Walpole Mansion, carrying with it an unusual silence. The magnificent estate, nestled deep within the forests of Duckland, stood proudly against the rising sun, its towering walls hiding secrets that had remained buried for generations.

Walpole had barely stepped into his bedroom after his morning workout when the sharp ringing of his phone echoed through the room.

Ring... Ring... Ring...

He glanced at the screen, his brows knitting together.

"Who could be calling this early?" he muttered beneath his breath.

With a sigh, he answered.

"Hello."

"Walpole," the familiar deep voice from the other end spoke urgently. "We need to talk... and this shouldn't be over the phone."

Jason.

Walpole's expression instantly became serious.

"I'll be there."

Without another word, he ended the call.

Something wasn't right.

---Jason paced restlessly inside his spacious office, his hands clasped tightly behind his back. His eyes remained fixed on the window as if expecting danger to appear at any second.

The office door opened.

"You wanted to see me?" Walpole asked calmly as he stepped inside.

Jason turned immediately.

"Walpole... we have a meeting tonight."

"The Full Moon Meeting?"

Jason nodded.

"Every member is expected to be there."

"I know."

Silence lingered between them for a moment.

Then Jason cleared his throat.

"In as much as I hate bringing this up..."

Walpole already knew where the conversation was heading.

"...Becky has been pleading with me every single day. She wants her position back. She's deeply sorry for what happened, and honestly..." Jason sighed. "I'm pleading on her behalf."

Walpole's eyes turned icy.

"She should stay far away from me."

Jason opened his mouth to speak again.

"Else-"

BOOOOOOM!!

A deafening explosion ripped through the building.

The walls trembled violently.

Glass shattered in every direction.

The ceiling cracked apart as smoke and flames swallowed Jason's office.

"WATCH OUT!" Jason shouted.

Without hesitation, Walpole grabbed him by the shoulder and hurled both of them toward the doorway.

CRASH!!

The entire office exploded behind them.

The force threw them across the hallway.

Dust filled the air.

Pieces of concrete rained from above.

Jason coughed repeatedly while struggling to get back on his feet.

"What... what was that?"

Walpole slowly rose, his piercing eyes scanning every corner.

"This wasn't an accident."

His voice had grown frighteningly cold.

"...We're under attack."

---

Night soon descended upon Duckland.

The moon slowly climbed into the dark sky.

Then...

It happened.

A gigantic silver Full Moon illuminated the heavens.

Walpole stood alone on the balcony of his mansion, staring silently at the glowing moon above.

Its light reflected beautifully in his blue eyes.

Then-

CRACK!

His bones shifted.

His muscles expanded.

White fur rapidly burst through his skin.

Within seconds, the handsome man was gone.

Standing in his place...

...was an enormous white wolf.

His glowing sapphire eyes pierced through the darkness like stars.

This was no ordinary wolf.

This was Walkyle...

...Father Wolf.

Without warning, Walkyle leaped gracefully over the mansion fence, landing in the middle of the deserted road.

He lifted his majestic head toward the heavens.

"AAARRROOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

His powerful howl echoed throughout the entire forest.

Miles away...

Another howl answered.

Then another.

And another.

Within minutes, wolves emerged from every direction.

Some sprinted through the woods.

Some appeared from mountain cliffs.

Others came from hidden paths unknown to mankind.

One after another...

They all bowed respectfully before Walkyle.

No one spoke.

None dared.

Because before them stood the Father Wolf of the White Wolves.

Walkyle slowly turned and led them back into the mansion compound.

The wolves followed silently behind their leader.

At the very center of the compound, Walkyle stopped.

He stretched out one enormous claw.

SCRRRAAAAPE...

His claws carved mysterious symbols into the ground.

The earth trembled.

A deep rumbling echoed beneath their feet.

Slowly...

The ground split open.

A gigantic stone doorway emerged from beneath the earth, glowing with ancient moon inscriptions that had existed long before the first Alpha ruled Duckland.

The massive door creaked open.

One after another, the wolves descended into the hidden chamber.

Below the earth lay a magnificent underground hall unlike anything seen on the surface.

Ancient pillars stretched toward the ceiling.

Blue flames burned silently along the walls.

At the very end of the chamber stood a grand throne carved from white stone.

Walkyle climbed the steps and sat upon it.

Only then did every wolf rise.

"The meeting may begin," Jasmin announced respectfully.

A heavy silence filled the chamber.

Walkyle's sharp gaze swept across every face.

"I was attacked today."

The room instantly erupted into murmurs.

"The explosion occurred inside Jason's office."

Every wolf stiffened.

"I believe the Black Wolves have returned."

A young wolf suddenly stepped forward before kneeling.

"Father Wolf..."

Walkyle looked at him.

"Speak."

Raein lowered his head respectfully.

"I was on my way to the Crystal Stream this morning when I overheard Kylean giving one of his members an order."

The chamber became deathly silent.

"He ordered them to prepare a bomb."

Gasps echoed throughout the room.

"I ran as fast as I could to warn you..." Raein continued, guilt filling his voice, "...but I wasn't fast enough."

Walkyle remained silent for several seconds.

His glowing blue eyes slowly closed.

"So..."

He finally opened them again.

"They've made their first move."

His deep voice echoed across the chamber.

"From this moment onward, every White Wolf must remain alert."

No one moved.

No one even breathed.

"Our enemies have returned."

His claws gripped the armrest of his throne.

"And before they plunge Duckland into darkness once more..."

Walkyle's eyes blazed with determination.

"...we shall stop them first."

The chamber erupted into a chorus of determined howls that shook the underground kingdom itself.

But unknown to everyone gathered beneath the mansion...

Far away...

Hidden within the shadows of an abandoned fortress...

A pair of blood-red eyes slowly opened.

And a cold, terrifying smile spread across the face of the one man who had sworn to take everything from Walpole.

Kylean.

"The game..."

he whispered into the darkness,

"...has finally begun."

The deafening chorus of howls slowly faded as the meeting drew to an end.

One after another, the White Wolves bowed respectfully before their leader.

Walkyle rose from his throne.

"Remain vigilant," he ordered, his commanding voice echoing through the ancient chamber. "The Black Wolves have waited years for this moment. They wouldn't strike unless they were planning something far greater."

"We understand, Father Wolf," everyone answered in unison.

With that, the meeting was adjourned.

The wolves gradually filed out of the underground hall, disappearing through the massive stone doorway before it slowly sealed itself beneath the earth once more.

Outside, beneath the glow of the full moon, each wolf sprinted into the darkness, returning to their respective territories.

Walkyle remained standing for a while.

His sharp sapphire eyes were fixed on the moon hanging silently above.

A strange feeling settled deep within his heart.

Something...

Something far worse than war was coming.

Moments later, his enormous body began to transform.

The white fur gradually disappeared.

His bones shifted back into place.

Within seconds, Walkyle was gone.

Walpole stood there once again, breathing heavily as though the moon itself had drained his strength.

He quietly walked back into the mansion.

---

Many years ago...

Duckland had been one kingdom.

There had been no White Wolves.

There had been no Black Wolves.

Only one united pack.

At its center stood the magnificent Duckland Palace, where generations of rulers had governed with wisdom and honor.

Every ruler of Duckland possessed a sacred royal staff, an heirloom passed down from their great-great-grandfathers.

Embedded at the very top of each staff rested a brilliant diamond, a symbol of authority recognized by every wolf across the kingdom.

Whoever held the staff...

...ruled Duckland.

Among the royal family were identical twin brothers.

Walpole...

and Kyle.

Though they looked almost exactly alike, there was one thing no one could change.

Walpole had entered the world first.

By ancient law, he was the rightful heir to the throne.

But Kyle refused to accept it.

"How can he be king?" Kyle had once shouted before the royal council.

"We're twins!"

His furious eyes burned with resentment.

"I resemble Father more than Walpole does! I possess greater strength, greater intelligence... everything! If anyone deserves the throne..."

He pointed at himself.

"...it's me."

The council remained silent.

Ancient laws could never be rewritten.

The eldest child inherited the throne.

No exceptions.

No arguments.

Kyle's hatred only grew stronger.

The jealousy he buried in his heart slowly transformed into something much darker.

Then...

One day...

The brothers fought.

Not as siblings.

Not as princes.

But as wolves.

The battle shook the very foundations of Duckland.

When it finally ended, peace was lost forever.

Those who remained loyal to Walpole followed him.

Those who believed Kyle should have been king abandoned the kingdom alongside him.

That was the day the united pack was divided.

The loyalists became known as the White Wolves.

The rebels became known as the Black Wolves.

Even after all these years...

Neither side had forgotten.

Nor forgiven.

Among wolves, human names were rarely spoken during transformation.

Instead, each possessed a sacred wolf name.

Walpole became Walkyle, the Father Wolf.

Jason became Jasmin.

Kyle became Kylean, feared leader of the Black Wolves.

Rae became Raein.

Every wolf carried two identities...

One as a human.

The other beneath the moon.

---

The mansion had fallen silent.

Walpole gently pushed open the door to his bedroom.

His wife, Danna, sat quietly on the edge of the bed.

She looked pale.

Worried.

Lost in thought.

The moment she noticed him, she forced a smile.

"You look troubled," Walpole said softly as he sat beside her.

She lowered her eyes.

"I had the nightmare again."

Walpole's expression changed.

Again?

He reached for her trembling hands.

"They're becoming more real."

Her voice quivered.

"Every night... I see darkness swallowing everything."

She swallowed nervously.

"I hear children crying..."

A tear rolled down her cheek.

"And no matter how hard I run..."

"...I can't reach them."

Walpole wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

"They're only nightmares."

"But what if they aren't?"

She looked directly into his eyes.

"What if they're warnings?"

Neither of them spoke.

The silence between them became unbearable.

Finally...

Danna stood.

"I need to see the children."

Without waiting for a reply, she hurried down the hallway.

She slowly pushed open the nursery door.

Moonlight spilled across the room.

There, sleeping peacefully beneath their blankets, lay their two precious children.

Little Vera Lynn hugged her stuffed wolf tightly.

Beside her, Oliver slept with one arm hanging off the bed, completely unaware of the dangers waiting beyond the mansion walls.

Danna smiled through her tears.

She gently kissed each of them on the forehead.

"Nothing..."

she whispered.

"...will happen to my babies."

Yet outside the bedroom window...

A dark shadow watched the family from deep within the forest.

And before disappearing into the night...

It whispered only three chilling words-

"They've been found..."

*******************************************

The first rays of sunlight filtered through the grand windows of Walpole Mansion, washing the marble floors in a warm golden glow.

For a brief moment...

Everything seemed peaceful.

The birds sang cheerfully outside, servants bustled through the hallways preparing breakfast, and the aroma of freshly baked bread filled the entire mansion.

If anyone had stepped into the house that morning, they would have believed it was just another ordinary day.

Only Walpole knew...

...it wasn't.

---

"Dad!"

A loud childish voice echoed through the dining hall.

"Look!"

Four-year-old Oliver sprang to his feet, pointing accusingly across the table.

"Vera Lynn took my pancake!"

Seated in her high chair was little Vera Lynn, barely one year and eight months old. Her sparkling green eyes blinked innocently as she clutched the pancake with both tiny hands.

"Dada..."

she babbled happily.

Oliver frowned.

"Dad gave it to me!"

Vera Lynn only hugged the pancake tighter.

Oliver looked as though he were about to burst into tears.

"Daaaaad!"

Walpole lowered the newspaper he had been pretending to read and sighed.

"Vera Lynn."

The little girl immediately looked up.

She recognized her father's voice.

Stretching out her tiny arms, she crawled down carefully before waddling toward him with her unsteady little steps.

"Dada..."

She reached for his leg, flashing him the sweetest smile she could manage.

She knew exactly what she was doing.

Walpole almost laughed.

Almost.

Instead, he folded his arms.

"What did Daddy tell you about taking things that belong to your brother?"

The little girl stared at him for a moment.

Then, with a tiny pout, she slowly handed the pancake back to Oliver.

"Good girl," Walpole said gently, stroking her soft hair.

Oliver grabbed it proudly.

"Hmph."

A second later...

His face twisted.

"Ewww!"

Tiny grains of sand fell onto the table.

"She put sand on it!"

Oliver complained.

"Dad! She's a bad girl!"

Several servants immediately lowered their heads, trying desperately not to laugh.

Even Danna covered her mouth as a smile escaped.

Vera Lynn quickly hid behind Walpole's leg.

"Dada..."

she mumbled innocently.

Walpole shook his head with a helpless smile.

"You two are impossible."

---

The laughter slowly faded.

Walpole's expression became serious.

"I have something important to tell you."

Oliver looked up.

"What is it, Dad?"

"You and your sister will be traveling with your mother and me to your grandmother's home."

Oliver blinked.

"We're all going?"

"Yes."

"We'll stay there for a few days."

"Grandma will begin teaching both of you."

Oliver tilted his head.

"Teaching us what?"

"History."

"Our traditions."

"And when the time comes..."

"...your wolf abilities."

Oliver remained silent.

"But why now?"

Walpole paused.

He searched for the right answer.

"It's time."

Oliver wasn't completely convinced.

"But I like it here."

Walpole smiled softly.

"I know."

"But sometimes..."

"...home isn't always the safest place to be."

Oliver didn't fully understand what his father meant.

He simply nodded.

Meanwhile, Vera Lynn clapped her tiny hands happily, completely unaware of the seriousness of the conversation.

---

Later that afternoon...

A luxurious royal aircraft stood waiting at Duckland's private airfield.

Its polished silver body reflected the afternoon sunlight beautifully.

Servants carefully loaded luggage while royal guards stood watch around the aircraft.

The security was tighter than usual.

Not because anyone expected danger...

But because Walpole trusted no chances.

Oliver held tightly onto his father's hand while Danna carried little Vera Lynn in her arms.

The little girl pointed excitedly at the enormous aircraft.

"Dada!"

She giggled.

Walpole smiled.

"Yes."

"That's what we're boarding."

As they slowly approached the aircraft, Danna's cheerful expression gradually faded.

She looked toward her husband.

"Honey..."

Her voice was barely above a whisper.

"Do you ever feel..."

"...that something is about to happen?"

Walpole looked at her.

She wasn't crying.

She wasn't panicking.

But there was fear in her eyes.

"My instincts..."

she whispered.

"...they've been disturbing me ever since that nightmare."

Walpole gently squeezed her hand.

"We'll be fine."

He smiled reassuringly.

"I promise."

Danna forced herself to smile back.

She wanted to believe him.

She truly did.

Moments later, the family boarded the aircraft together.

The cabin doors slowly closed.

The engines roared to life.

Within seconds...

The aircraft accelerated down the runway before lifting gracefully into the sky.

Walpole gazed silently through the window as Duckland grew smaller beneath the clouds.

For reasons he couldn't explain...

His heart suddenly felt unusually heavy.

Far away...

Deep within the ancient forests surrounding Duckland...

A cold wind swept through the trees.

The leaves rustled violently.

Then...

Without warning...

A distant wolf's howl echoed through the forest.

Long...

Deep...

And haunting.

Walpole slowly lifted his head.

A strange chill crawled down his spine.

He couldn't shake the feeling that something had just changed.

Something unseen...

Something dangerous...

And somewhere beyond the endless clouds...

Destiny had already begun moving its first piece.
