The Tale of Usi Yuh & Si Xus - 1

The night was alive with whispers. The moon hung like a watchful eye, casting a ghostly glow over the battlefield, as if it, too, mourned what was about to unfold. A cold wind curled through the ruins, stirring the scent of blood and rain, carrying echoes of a war fought across lifetimes.

In the heart of the mist, a lone figure stood - her figure sharp against the silver haze. Usi Yuh, Princess of the Dragon Realm, heir to the Soul Throne, and wielder of a fate crueler than death itself. Her sword, black as midnight, pulsed with restless energy, mirroring the storm raging inside her heart.

Across from her, emerging from the veil of shadows, was Si Xus. The King of the Immortal Realm. Her greatest love. Her greatest betrayal.

His eyes, as deep and endless as the cosmos, held the weight of unspoken truths. “Usi Yuh...” His voice was soft, yet carried the power of the ages. “This is how it must be.”

She clenched her jaw, ignoring the ache in her chest. “We swore an oath, Si Xus. We vowed to stand together.”

“And yet here we stand,” he murmured, gripping his sword tighter. “As enemies.”

The heavens rumbled in protest. Lightning slashed across the sky, splitting the darkness with a flash of blinding white. The ground beneath them trembled, as though the world itself was afraid of what was to come.

Usi Yuh’s heart pounded. She took a step forward, her voice barely above a whisper. “Why?”

Si Xus’s grip on his sword tightened. His expression remained unreadable, but his eyes - they betrayed him. There was pain there. Regret. And something else. Something darker.

“Because the stars have already inscribed our fate,” he said, his voice barely carrying over the howling wind. “And even we, with all our power, cannot rewrite them.”

A sharp breath left her lips. Lies. Lies wrapped in truth. She could feel it—the pulse of something ancient beneath his words, an unspoken mystery lurking just beyond her grasp.

But there was no time. Fate would not wait.

Her grip on her sword tightened. “Then let us end this.”

Their blades clashed, shattering the silence with a burst of magic and fury. Sparks danced like falling stars, their battle a deadly waltz of love and loss. Every strike carried the weight of lifetimes, every movement was a story untold. They fought not as mere warriors, but as two souls entwined by fate’s cruel hand.

Si Xus’s blade glowed with ancient power, his attacks swift and unrelenting. But Usi Yuh was the storm itself, her movements fluid, her strikes laced with fire and vengeance. The battlefield trembled beneath their fury, the very air crackling with forbidden magic.

And then - it happened.

A single misstep. A heartbeat too late.

Si Xus’s blade struck true.

Usi Yuh gasped, but not in pain. In understanding. As if in that single moment, the entire puzzle had fallen into place. Her lips curled into a sorrowful smile. “Perhaps... this is merely the beginning.”

Si Xus’s sword slipped from his trembling hands. The moment stretched, infinite and unbearable. His voice was hoarse, broken. “No... this cannot be...”

As Usi Yuh crumpled, the battlefield dissolved into stardust. The war, the heavens, the earth - all fading, swallowed by the currents of destiny. And yet, through the whispering wind, a promise remained, soft and certain:
