Chapter 1 (Energy)
Protect your energy.
Don’t give it away so easily.
In life, there will be people who won’t appreciate the love, effort, and energy you invest in them, whether it’s in friendship or love.
It’s sad, but unfortunately, it’s reality.
No matter how much your heart wants to give, the wrong person will never truly appreciate it or reciprocate with the same devotion.
Instead, they’ll simply keep taking, with no end.
So protect yourself.
Protect your heart.
One day, the right person will see the beauty within you and appreciate everything you have to offer.
I know it’s easier said than done.
I keep tripping over the same stone more than once, but I’m learning.
From now on, I’ll protect my energy and stop wasting it on people who don’t value the effort I give.
I believe in the Red String of Fate.
Somewhere on the other end of mine is someone who will see me, choose me, value me, and appreciate me for exactly who I am.
Until then, my energy belongs to me.
