Prologue
“Speak,” Gerald said, his voice cutting through the silence. “Do you care more about your cousin, or about marrying my daughter?”
At his words, Grayson’s heart skipped a beat.
“Decide today. Me, or that doll of yours?”
“If you truly love me, then let go of your cousin,” Nora added, clearly pleased by her father’s demand.
“I can’t let go of Doll.”
“Then let go of me.”
“Done.”
