Chapter 1- the girl no one sees
Judy Garlandis a 2 year senior high student, 15 years old. Her father, Mr Garland, cared nothing about her. He always thought that Judy was just a competition for Clare. He would've abondoned her a long time ago, but his wife Teresa begged. He loved her too much to let a useless girl separate their love.
He only saw her as a nuisance. But his wife saw her as someone special. One day while they were having a heated argument, Judy over heard them. Mr Garland said, "that girl is nothing. She's just trying to outshine Clare". She was about to lose all hope in her family loving her when she heard her mother say, "no. That's not how she is. She's respectful. She's beautiful, she's intelligent. The best of all, she's trying her best for your approval. She always topped her class to gain recognition from you. But you still look down on her. If you don't want to live her, then I will".
Hot tears streamed down her face. She held onto that hope that her mother loves her. So she tried even more, not because she wants to get recognition from her father, but because she doesn't want to fail her mother. She keeps trying until one day, her life will change.
