Chapter 1- The First Meeting
Daphne left her hostel for Damien’s hostel to study. While she was there, she decided to use the washroom. As she stepped out, she noticed Xavier sitting on Damien’s bed. She greeted him softly, and Xavier responded just as calmly. Damien then introduced the two of them and immediately began teasing them.
Daphne, Damien, and Xavier were course mates. Daphne was very close to Damien, and Damien and Xavier were also tight friends. However, despite being in the same class, Daphne and Xavier had never spoken before.
After the introduction, Daphne and Xavier exchanged pleasantries, shared their contacts, and talked for a while. Before long, Xavier asked Damien to excuse them, so Damien left the room. Surprisingly, the two found themselves talking as though they had known each other for years, although Daphne was still a little shy.
When Damien returned, Daphne prepared to leave for her hostel. Just then, Gregg arrived with his friend and spent some time talking to Daphne.
Gregg and Daphne had known each other for quite some time.
