(The scene opens on the uppermost executive floor of Taeshin Group. The interior is defined by dark polished wood, floor-to-ceiling glass, and an oppressive silence.)

(HAN CHAE-WON steps out of the elevator carrying a small stack of audit files. She pauses, looking around the empty, pristine hallway in visible confusion.)

HAN CHAE-WON

(Muttering softly under her breath)

"Is this the right floor? The Finance Division is on the fourth floor... Why is there no one here?"

(SECRETARY MIN emerges from the far end of the corridor, his demeanor calm and formal.)

SECRETARY MIN

"Intern Han."

HAN CHAE-WON

(Bowing respectfully)

"Good evening, Secretary Min. I received an internal reassignment notice from HR, but... isn't this the corporate suite?"

SECRETARY MIN

(Opening the heavy double doors)

"This is CEO Kang Tae-jun’s private executive suite. Moving forward, your official shift begins at 5:00 PM and concludes once your daily tasks are fully completed."

[SCENE 2]

LOCATION: Tae-jun’s Private Executive Suite

(Chae-won steps cautiously into the vast office. Positioned across from a heavy dark-oak executive desk is a newly installed workstation, set directly in front of a sprawling city-view glass wall.)

(KANG TAE-JUN stands by the window with his hands in his suit pockets, staring silently down at the city skyline. His cold presence fills the room.)

SECRETARY MIN

"Boss, Intern Han has arrived."

(Tae-jun turns around slowly. His sharp, unreadable gaze fixes directly on Chae-won. She instinctively freezes, holding her breath.)

KANG TAE-JUN

(Cold tone)

"Leave us, Min."

SECRETARY MIN

"Understood, Boss."

(Bows and closes the door behind him.)

[SCENE 3]

LOCATION: Tae-jun’s Private Executive Suite

(An intense silence settles over the room. Tae-jun walks slowly toward Chae-won, stopping just a few feet away.)

KANG TAE-JUN

(Authoritative voice)

"That is your new desk. From this moment on, you report exclusively to me."

HAN CHAE-WON

(Hesitating slightly)

"Sir... I am only a junior finance intern. May I ask why my workstation was moved to the CEO’s private floor?"

KANG TAE-JUN

(Takes a deliberate step forward, cutting her off)

"Because you uncovered a $30 Million fraud last night, Intern Han. Had I left you on the general floor, Shin-woo’s men would have already silenced you to keep those numbers hidden."

(Chae-won’s eyes widen in shock as the reality sets in.)

HAN CHAE-WON

(Voice trembling slightly)

"S-Silenced me? Sir... what are you talking about? Vice President Shin-woo... would he really—"

KANG TAE-JUN

(Rude, sharp tone)

"Do not ask questions you aren't prepared to handle. Sit at that desk and trace every single transaction path linked to that $30 Million deficit. You will not leave this room until I give the command."

(Tae-jun turns back to his desk without another word. Chae-won quietly takes her seat at the new desk and opens her laptop.)

[SCENE 4]

LOCATION: Tae-jun’s Private Executive Suite

TIME: 09:30 PM

(Hours have passed. Low, tense background music plays as Chae-won remains buried in financial ledgers and code scripts. Exhaustion shows on her face as she rubs her shoulder and sighs softly.)

(Tae-jun appears focused on his own paperwork, but his eyes occasionally drift toward Chae-won, noting her fatigue.)

(He rises from his desk, pours a cup of hot tea from the side cabinet, and sets it down on Chae-won’s desk without making eye contact.)

HAN CHAE-WON

(Surprised, looking up)

"Sir?"

KANG TAE-JUN

(Coldly looking out the window)

"Drink it. I cannot afford an intern making errors on my data due to exhaustion."

HAN CHAE-WON

(A subtle, genuine smile appearing)

"Thank you, Sir..."

(As Chae-won takes a sip, Tae-jun catches the reflection of her gentle smile in the glass window. For a split second, his cold posture softens before he returns to his emotionless expression.)

[SCENE 5]

LOCATION: Taeshin Group HQ — Underground Parking Lot

TIME: 10:30 PM

(KANG SHIN-WOO stands near his luxury sedan, smoking a cigarette. MR. LEE stands beside him in the shadows.)

KANG SHIN-WOO

(Irritated, harsh tone)

"Mr. Lee! Why hasn't the digital trail for that $30 Million laundering operation been wiped yet?"

MR. LEE

(Fake composure)

"Vice President Shin-woo, please remain calm. I was clearing the audit logs, but an unexpected variable appeared."

KANG SHIN-WOO

"What variable?"

MR. LEE

"Tae-jun personally moved a new finance intern—Han Chae-won—to his private floor today. She was the one working late on your department's audit files last night."

KANG SHIN-WOO

(Narrowing his eyes with a cruel smile)

"Tae-jun moved a junior intern into his private suite? That cold bastard never allows anyone near his personal space. She must have uncovered the evidence against me."

MR. LEE

"How do you wish to proceed?"

KANG SHIN-WOO

(Opening his car door)

"Put a tail on her. The moment she steps foot outside Tae-jun's sight... intercept her."

[SCENE 6]

LOCATION: Tae-jun’s Private Executive Suite

TIME: 11:45 PM

(Chae-won finishes compiling her reports and closes her laptop. She stands up and approaches Tae-jun’s desk.)

HAN CHAE-WON

"Sir, I have successfully decrypted the offshore accounts linked to Vice President Shin-woo’s shell entities. The full report has been sent to your private server. May I be excused for the night?"

(Tae-jun stands up slowly, his commanding presence towering over her.)

KANG TAE-JUN

(Dark tone)

"Intern Han... Your work for tonight is finished, but your safety is not."

HAN CHAE-WON

(Confused)

"Sir?"

KANG TAE-JUN

"Secretary Min will escort you down to the main lobby. Do not speak to anyone outside this building."

HAN CHAE-WON

(Bowing)

"Understood. Goodnight, Sir."
