Prologue – The Chair Does Not Move
The wooden chair sat in the exact center of the room, pulled far enough from the desk that nothing could be reached. Mason filled it completely. Naked, thighs spread just enough to keep balance, thick wrists crossed behind the backrest and held there by the single quiet order that had put them there. The silver chain lay cool and precise around the base of his throat, one loop only, the loose end resting against the hollow where his collarbone met the heavy rise of muscle.
Aiden moved in a slow circle.
Bare feet made almost no sound on the floorboards. He kept close enough that the air between them stayed warm. One hand lifted, fingertips finding the dense curve of Mason’s left bicep first, tracing the hard swell from shoulder to elbow with deliberate lightness, as if measuring the exact thickness that refused to tense or pull away. The muscle stayed soft under the touch only because it was commanded to. Heat radiated from the skin; a fine tremor lived just beneath the surface, controlled, held down by will alone.
“Look how still you keep it,” Aiden said, voice low, almost conversational. “All this, and it doesn’t move.”
He continued the circle. Fingers dragged across the broad plane of Mason’s chest, pausing at each tight nipple long enough to feel the way the larger body wanted to arch and refused. The chain shifted with every shallow breath Mason allowed himself, metal sliding against flushed skin. Outside the cracked window the suburban night pressed close and silent; inside, the desk lamp threw its hard yellow circle and left the corners dark.
Aiden completed the circuit and stepped between the open thighs. He rested both palms on the heavy muscle there, feeling the restrained power under his smaller hands, the way the legs wanted to close or spread further and did neither. Then he climbed. One knee, then the other, settling his lighter weight across Mason’s lap so that bare skin met bare skin in a long, deliberate press. The chain caught between them for a moment, cool against the heat of Mason’s chest.
Mason’s cock was already hard, thick and flushed, trapped between their bodies. Aiden shifted once, a slow roll of hips that dragged his own arousal along the length of it, smearing the wetness already gathered at the head. A low sound tried to rise in Mason’s throat and was swallowed. His wrists stayed locked. His eyes stayed open, fixed on Aiden’s face the way he had been told.
Aiden leaned in until their mouths were a breath apart. He did not kiss. He simply stayed there, sharing air, letting Mason feel the nearness and the refusal at the same time. One hand slid up to rest lightly at the side of Mason’s neck, thumb brushing the edge of the chain.
“You could break this whenever you want,” Aiden murmured. “You’re stronger. You’re bigger. So why are you still sitting here with your hands behind the chair while I decide what happens next?”
Mason’s answer was only the controlled shake of muscle under Aiden’s thighs, the wet heat of his cock twitching against Aiden’s stomach, the ragged edge of breath that refused to become a plea.
Aiden rolled his hips again, slower, grinding down until the head of Mason’s cock slid through the slickness between them and caught for a moment at the place it wanted most. He held still at that exact pressure, chain cool between their chests, smaller body perfectly balanced on the larger one that was not allowed to move.
Mason’s breath broke on a sound that was almost a word.
Aiden did not give him the rest of it.
