Chapter 1 – A Stranger on Instagram
I never believed that a stranger could become so important in someone's life.
It all started on an ordinary day. I was sitting with my friend, scrolling through Instagram, when she suddenly showed me a reel.
"Look at this," she said.
I watched it once. Then I watched it again.
There was nothing extraordinary about it, yet something made me pause. Maybe it was the simplicity. Maybe it was the smile behind the screen. I couldn't explain it.
My friend laughed and said, "Why don't you message him?"
I immediately shook my head.
"Message a stranger? Never."
But the thought stayed with me. Even after putting my phone aside, I kept thinking about that reel. Finally, curiosity won.
I opened his profile.
My fingers hesitated over the keyboard. I typed a message, erased it, typed again, and stared at the screen for a few seconds.
Then I took a deep breath and pressed Send.
"Hi...
I smiled to myself and locked my phone, convinced he would never reply.
A few minutes later...
My phone vibrated.
I unlocked it with much interest.
He had replied.
A complete stranger had replied to my message.
I didn't know why, but that small reply made me smile.
At that moment, I had no expectations. I wasn't searching for love. I wasn't looking for someone to change my life.
I was just a girl who had sent a message to a stranger.
Little did I know...
That one message was about to become the first page of a story I would never forget.....
