Chapter 1

" I keep on waiting here, Celeste," he whispered.

I was about to say something when a loud ringing woke me up. I slammed my alarm clock, opened my eyes, and a tear suddenly fell. Lately, I've been having these kinds of dreams. I didn't know why, but maybe it was because I wanted to feel what people call love.

"Argh, these dreams again. Why do I always dream about him when I can't even see his face?" I muttered, wiping the tears from my cheek. It was true., I had never once caught a glimpse of his face, yet that same line always echoed in my mind.

I got up and fixed my bed and went straight to the bathroom to take a bath. I'm going to one of the abandoned library here in Tagayat that I saw online. It's a tourist spot still i love exploring these kinds of place especially it's about books

" Cause when a heart breaks no it don't breakeven" I sing along to the song titled breakeven. I love all the script songs and Oasis. It just made me feel so inlove yet broken hearted.

I showered for like 20 minutes plus the little concert I did.  I decided to wear my favorite blue cardigan with washed pants because it's already bermonths so it's kinda cold here in tagaytay even though in the daylight

"Ohh, it's really old and rusty" I murmured while sipping the coffee I bought before going here.

I'm infront of the library, it was not that big but it's obvious to be a really really old one. Vines covered the side of the entrance and rusty metals are visible indicating that it was abandoned for years

I locked my car and went straight to the entrance. It's hard to open because it hadn't been opened for a long time. The door made a loud creek, and a dusty and rusty smell filled my noise that I could taste it already.

"You should've bought a facemask Aria" I said to myself. Pulled out my phone to and opened the flashlight because it was bit dark

"Wow..... This place is just a wow" I was mesmerized to see the inside of the library

It was big compared to how it looks on the outside, so I went straight to the aisle and slid my fingers across dusty shelves. I some familiar books but  majority are books I haven't seen in my whole life

"The books are really a gemstone, i never saw this" I said while exploring through the aisles

I noticed that the aisles are  organized by genre. I was about to take a turn when a faint, pulsating light drew my attention. Coming from the last aisle, I saw it was a horror section. I was hesitating to approach it first because it was dark there and the light was only one glowing and second It was in the horror section.

But since I'm curious I went there slowly with a hammering heart because of nervousness. I saw the glowing book sitting there. Compared to others it was not covered by dust it looked new like I was just placed here yesterday.

The light vanished the moment I touched it " Oh, it's a romance book, what are you doing here in the horror section?" I confusedly ask myself.  The cover is just a simple nightsky with a wishing star with a boy holding his guitar. I decided to read the synopsis at the back

A man on the verge of ending his life finds hope in a recurring dream... a girl whose face feels so real, he risks everything to find her.

" A suicidal man?" it caught my interest, so I flipped the pages. But there was nothing written on it. Not even a single word. I was confused because there is a synopsis but nothing on the inside. I was about to put it back when a swirling light that once on the book enveloped my whole body

"Oh my god! What's happening?" I said in the verge of panicking

"Help! Somebody h-hel.." i felt something pulling me into the dark void before i could even finished what i was saying

I opened my eyes and found myself sitting in a rusted backstage cabin, clutching the book. I rub my eyes to see if I'm not dreaming. I remembered what happened back there in the library so  panicked and hurriedly get up

"What fuck happened?" I ask my self

"Where am I?" I gathered myself up when I noticed that this cabin is someone's property. On the wall there's a poster of a boy holding a blue and red guitar. I shrugged it
