THE ONE
Once I thought
There was no such personality,
Believing they existed only
Within the realm of imagination.
Then suddenly, one soul
Found its place within my life.
Something shifted deep inside,
And my heart began to wonder:
Is this real?
Once my mind whispered to itself,
"Perhaps not human, but an angel,"
For the sphere of reality
Could hardly contain such a soul.
Then I began to linger
Around this rare gem.
My heart remained close
And refused to part.
