Chapter 1: Caught in the Act
Ye Qiu pushed open the door, only to hear the voices of a man and a woman coming from the bathroom.
“I’ve been holding back for days.”

“I saw it with my own eyes! Are you going to tell me everything I saw was a lie? Zhang Lili, I never thought you were this kind of person!”
Ye Qiu’s questioning turned Zhang Lili’s embarrassment into defensive anger. She dropped the act and said coldly, “I must have been blind to ever look at a loser like you.”
“I stayed with you for two years and got nothing. All you ever gave me was this cheap bracelet, claiming it was some family heirloom. Bah!”
Zhang Lili pulled a White Jade Bracelet from her wrist and threw it at Ye Qiu. “From now on, we go our separate ways. We have nothing to do with each other!”
