This is where i belong
It was raining very hard when I pulled in the driveway of London medical school's hostel. The rain sound like it has been kissed by the clouds a thousand times.this is where I start,this is how I begin,this is where I am destined to be. It's my first day of medical school.being a doctor had been my lifelong dream. I'm holding a cup of hot tea in my right hand and a luggage in my left as I walk through the corridors and I reach the reception and the receptionist looks at me from head to toe like she's analyzing my entire being in one minute "valarie Jones?"she says."yes,this is valarie ,nice to meet you!'.she looks at me like I've kicked her in the gut."I'm miss fortune! Nice to finally meet you too.let me show you to your room ,darling" . "miss ..for..tune ,cute name!" She laughs nervously and walks me through the big corridors surrounded by big paintings and dark lamps .miss fortune is a middle aged woman wearing handsewn sweater and big glasses resting on the tip of her nose.she must know me,my uncle must've warned her for my arrival.she hands me the key and points at the door that reads 'ROOM 28' in cursive letters"that's your room,darling!"I nod and smile .
The room is not that big but not that small.its has a two twin sized beds alongside both walls with side tables and a cubbord,a study table for two people and a bathroom .it also has a big window along one of the bed .I sit beside the window looking down to see the beauty of london.my mind is free, this is a very new beginning.my phone rings' UNCLE JARRED
"You arrived safely honey?""yes thanks to you"he laughs like it's the funniest thing "haha ok honey just wanted to check ,eat something ok?I gotta work for the new project now take care""hmm...uncle... you got it right?!". "Yeah I got it baby,don't worry my dear no one will know." ..."ok bye then".uncle jarred is like a pile of happiness,he is the only one who actually cares about what I do and what I don't ,he's my ride or die.he's my mom's brother and I love him to death.my mom is also a decent lady but uncle jarry is just so my best friend.my dad' Henry Jones' runs the entire Texas .not like actually but he is the owner of' the sonlite corporation ' which basically runs the whole Texas .I have 2 older brothers 'jake Jones:the eldest' and' Nicolas Jones' and they both also run dad's business across Texas .my mother 'taressa jones'runs the biggest department store of the city and she wanted me to also follow in her footsteps but I've always wanted to be a doctor ,I wanted to heal ,my parents were always against my dream.they thought "that industry is too Saturated"industry. They thought medical was an industry.but uncle Jerry always fixes .i don't know how but somehow I got here. My parents don't know that neither does my brother's,neither does anyone from my past except for uncle jarry of course. You can say me being here is a secret..my parents think I'm in Australia studying business or something.
Im drowning in my thoughts when the door swings open and a girl my age with a bright smile opens the door and says(shouts)"hiii girllllll I'm Nancy Wilson and I'm your roommate" oh roommate "I'm going to be 19 in December and I am an only child and my favorite color is pink and-wait I'm talking too much.whats your name?age?" She is wearing a laced pink top with little hearts on it and flare jeans with brown coat heels.her hair is free and reaches her hips .she has big brown eyes and a wide smile,she looks like a ray of sunshine"I'm valarie and 19 in October!nice to meet you!" "Yayayya nice to meet you too" we are organizing our room when nancy gets very excited by the laughing voices coming from outside "NEIGHBORS,LETS GO MEET EM " I try to deny but she already draged me out the room
.a guy our age wearing leather jacket and cargo pants with brown lush hair is holding moving boxes and is laughing for whatever reason while holding the door of his room ,his friend or whatever inside is also laughing.nancy taps his shoulder"hiii we are your neighbors!"he smiles "oh yeah hi nice to meet you!I'm Cameron Smith!"he has sharp features and green eyes.he shakes Nancy's hand and she blushes so hard she nearly falls to the floor "I'm Nancy Wilson and she is my roommate valarie..umm"she looks at me "full name?" I laugh awkwardly."who's at the door cam?" A voice comes from inside the room and it sounds utterly fimmiliar "would you guys like to come inside and have a cup of tea?"I hesitate but Nancy is already walking inside .he is wearing a brown sweater with beige pants, camel loafers,a big muscular guy he turns around to face us "ANDERSON?"my jaw drops in the floor "VALARIE?" I stare at him like I swallowed an octopus
