The First Meeting

There was a lovely place, at least a hundred years ago. That place was famous for it's beauty and mystery.

There lived a boy named as Anaan.

He was smart, kind and handsome. He had black hair, black shiny eyes and fair skin. He had a personality which let's everyone to fall in love with him. Many girls and women admired him.  He was the only one who was very far away from this love. But the reality was that, he was a slave.

When he was just 13 years old. He was sold by his own father. The man who bought him was incredibly cruel, and always treat him in bad manners. This make Anaan feel lonely from inside, and he looked at the world with hate.

Whenever he saw children, who are free to live their life. He thought will his life be changed. He had tried to escape, but failed many times.

However the master had a daughter named as Ahana.

She was a pretty, gentle girl. Her beauty was appreciateable. Her golden hairs, her blue eyes held a quiet warmth. Every one admired her. She was a good hearted girl. She was totally different from her father's. She did not share her father's cruel heart.

She was outside of the estate for 14 years. She was sent out, when she was just 8. The first day when she came home, she was very happy. Everyone laughed with her, and admired her. She also met every slave, but his father didn't like that. And when it was Anaan turn to meet her. He went away. Ahana was the only girl, who was beautiful in eye of Anaan.

When she decided to met everyone. At that time he saw different version of her. But still In his heart she was the daughter of a cruel man.

One day Anaan and Ahana met by chance at the edge of estate. Ahana was sitting on a stone bench, holding a book. When Anaan approached to clear the wild vines. When she Saw him, she thought although he is arrogant, but so much handsome.

"You work too hard", she said softly, "My father watches everyone, but it's look like you carry the weight of whole estate". She asked him why did he went away when she was about to met him. He was silent he said nothing.

But beside him was an old women, who said my milady. He is a slave. He had done whatever ordered is given to him. Ahana asked, " who told him to not met me". The old women said, "your father". Ahana was surprised and said why. Anaan said because he hate him. And he didn't want to meet her daughter to a slave.

She apologize for her father cruel behavior. " You're as so hardworking". She said. Anaan dropped his gaze to the dirt. Keeping his hand clasped tightly. " I only do what I must, milady ".

"Call me Ahana ", she insisted stepping closer. She reached out her fingers gently brushing a smudge of dirt from his cheeks. That day was the first day, Anaan feeled something different. The first day when he smiled in his life. He smoothly moved his Head, and looked at her.

After that Ahana went away, thinking of Anaan. How a person like him can be a slave.  She admired him alot. When she reached home,  she asked about Anaan. Her mother said,"nobody knows about him except the old women". "She was with him, when for the first time he was bought home".

The next day, she returned to the old women. and asked about him. She asked, " do you know from where Anaan is ?". The old women replied . "Yes,  he is the son of a man who is higher than her father's status".

Ahana was curious to know. She asked. "Who he is ?"

The old women sighed. " I don't know his name. When my master was about to sell me, a masked man came to me. He handed Anaan and told me to rise him. I asked who he was, and he said he is child's father a king. Anaan was only one year at that time. I loved him like my own son and raised him as my own. From that day onward, he has been with me. but I can't gave him anything. I blame myself, why I have taken him from his father.

Ahana went away sadly knowing that he was sold by his own father. That women told Ahana, Anaan is lonely and unhappy everytime. Your father is very strict and punished him for small mistakes.

Ahana felt sorry for him. She was about to leave when Anaan suddenly approached. She looked at him and smiled warmly. Then she stepped closer and asked if he would like to be her friend.

Anaan was surprised but he refused.

"Why?" She asked.

She smiled and said,"nobody will ever know that we are friends".

From that day onward the garden became their secret meeting place.

He came there to clean, and she came there to meet him. As the time passed they fell in love with each other. Their love grew so strong that they could no longer stay away from one another.

But one day while they meeting in the garden. Ahana's father discovered them talking. His face twisted with rage, and the threatened away forever and kill him.

Knowing they had only a moment to act, Ahana grabbed Anaan's hand. Together they turned and sprinted toward the towering, forbidden gates of the estate.

They were running to unknown leaving everything behind.

kitkatbar29: So this first book in this series I liked. A good plot that flowed well for the most part with some twists along the way, good well developed characters... there are a few technical mistakes, but nothing to harsh. I must say toward the end of the book there were some issues with like a quick change ...

Loved, Loudly

Merrell Bunting: Well written, kind of quiet story, I enjoyed it. I am still a bit perplexed over whether this was a second chance mating story with choosing or completely a chosen mate story. If it is a chosen mate tale it leaves one a bit worried about a fated mate showing up. Either way it was a nice read.
