CHAPTER : 1

The campus of SRC Science College belonged to Yuvraj Singhania’s family, just like half the city did. As the only son of Rishi Singhania—a tycoon who owned everything from major commercial brands to luxury hotel chains—Yuvraj carried himself like royalty. Walking into his third-year science lecture, his tall frame, dark eyes, and effortless charm drew every gaze in the room. He wasn’t just privileged, he excelled at everything he did, and he knew it.

Yuvraj was heading to class when a heavy blow struck him from behind. The sound of glass breaking echoed down the corridor. He stumbled forward, pressing his hand to his head, his fingers coming away stained with fresh blood. “Who the hell did that?” he demanded, trying to steady his vision. A sharp voice answered from behind him, full of spite. “Consider that a reminder from last night.”

“You bastard!” Yuvraj roared, spinning around as the crowd began to gather.

Hearing the shattering glass and the shouting, students quickly spilled out of the nearby classrooms to see the commotion. Whispers instantly rippled through the hallway.

“Oh my god, look! Are Jay Agrawal and Yuvraj Singhania fighting?”

“Yeah, Jay just smashed a glass bottle right over Yuvraj’s head!”

“Wait, why?” another student whispered loudly.

“I heard that during the street race last night, Yuvraj and Hrithik crashed into Jay’s car. They hit Karan, too!”

“What? Karan?”

“Exactly. Yuvraj totalled his car and hospitalized his best friend. How did anyone expect Jay to stay quiet after that?”

“How dare you hit me!” Yuvraj snarled, his face twisted in rage.

He and Jay lunged at each other, fists clenched, ready to tear each other apart. Before they could collide, a booming voice cut through the corridor.

“Stop right there! What the hell are you two doing?”

The crowded hallway went dead silent. Students began whispering frantically among themselves.

“Oh shit, it’s the professor.”

The professor marched toward them, his eyes piercing. “Yuvraj, what is happening here?”

“Ask this bastard, sir,” Yuvraj spat, crossing his arms with pure attitude.

The professor turned his glare toward Jay. Jay was practically shaking with suppressed fury. “Sir, last night, he and his friends rammed into my car,” Jay said, his voice trembling with anger. “They injured Karan, too!”

The professor looked back at Yuvraj for an explanation.

“Sir, he’s completely lying,” Yuvraj scoffed smoothly. “We were just racing. His friend drove right into our path. It was just a minor accident.”

“What do you mean we came in your way?” Jay yelled, stepping forward. “Sir, he’s lying through his teeth!”

“Oh, so you’re the one telling the truth now?” Yuvraj raised his voice, mocking him. “Where’s your proof?”

“Both of you, shut up!” the professor snapped, cutting them off. He pointed a finger down the hall. “Yuvraj, go to the medical room and get that face treated. Jay, you head straight to my office. I want both of you sitting in front of my desk in ten minutes.”

Inside the professor’s office, the atmosphere was thick with a heavy, suffocating silence.

The professor slowly removed his glasses, his hands visibly shaking as he pinched the bridge of his nose. “Jay, I wasn’t expecting this from you. You are Ketan Agrawal’s son. You come from one of the most respected families in this country, and your academic record is sincere. But what I witnessed today deeply upsets me.”

“Sir, I wasn’t lying,” Jay pleaded, his hands clenched tightly on the desk. “He really messed with us last night. He crashed into my car and hurt Karan!”

“Jay, whatever happened last night took place outside the college premises,” the professor replied, his voice frantic, desperate to de-escalate the situation. “But you attacked him inside the college. According to the rules, you are in the wrong. I am trying to protect you here. If your father hears about you getting into an ugly campus brawl, it will ruin your family’s reputation. But more importantly... I don’t want to blow this incident out of proportion.”

The professor leaned forward, sweating under his collar. “You know Yuvraj’s mother is the CEO of this very institution. If this turns into a legal war between the Agrawal's and the CEO’s family, it will destroy this college. I am caught in the middle here.”

“But sir—” Jay started.

“Jay, please,” the professor cut him off, raising a pleading hand. “Just cooperate.”

A sharp knock broke the tension. The door creaked open, and Yuvraj stood there, looking completely unbothered by Jay’s billionaire status. “May I come in, sir?”

The professor nodded quickly, relieved by the interruption. “Yes. How is your wound?”

“Good, sir,” Yuvraj replied smoothly, a smirk playing on his lips as he glanced at Jay.

The professor turned back to Jay, trying to sound stern despite his inner panic. “Taking everything into account, Jay... you are suspended for one week.”

Jay’s eyes widened in sheer disbelief. “What?”

Yuvraj didn’t wait to be asked. He walked over, confidently slid into a chair right next to Jay, and crossed his legs with pure attitude. He didn’t care who Jay’s father was on this campus, Yuvraj’s mother held the ultimate power.

“Sir, is that it?” Yuvraj scoffed, leaning back. “Isn’t that a bit too simple of a punishment? He put his hands on me. The Agrawal name doesn’t give him the right to break my jaw.”

Jay glared at Yuvraj, his blood boiling. The arrogance of this guy was unbelievable.

The professor swallowed hard, looking between the two powerful heirs. “So, what do you want, Yuvraj? We cannot afford a scandal.”

Yuvraj tilted his head, his eyes locking onto Jay with a malicious, challenging gleam. “He hit me, so I should get to decide how he pays for it.

The professor frowned, terrified of what was coming. “What do you mean?”

“For the next two weeks,” Yuvraj said, his voice dripping with authority, “he does exactly what I tell him to do around this college. He becomes my personal servant. If he complies, you can cancel the suspension.”
