Chapter 1: A Present for the Dictator
It is morning, sometime in the year 1936. In a disclosed location in Berlin, Germany. A notorious dictator Adolf Hitler is fast asleep. A few paces away Karl Zedler, a German soldier working his shift guards the dictator with his life. Though he’s not an ideologue, Karl is somewhat goofy for a German World War II soldier.
“I can’t believe they trust me with protecting him” thought Karl, “this is my most important mission yet. I HAVE to help him.”
Karl was willing to put his life on the line, back in the dictator’s room – an alarm clock went off. Adolf rose out of bed and stretched a bit.
“Ah, good to get up time to get ready so I can greet the German people!” smiled Adolf.
The dictator heads over towards the restroom and sees a strange present waiting for him. He could tell something’s off with the package.
“Did I approve of this?” thought Adolf.
The dictator glances at the present – “To Adolf Hitler”. There is no sender on it. As the dictator cautiously opens the package, he sees an odd shaver of some sort. Solar powered to be exact something not found in the 1930’s at all.
“What the heck is this?” thought Adolf.
Before Adolf could do anything – the shaver itself became quite sentient.
“Mustache detected!” declares the solar powered shaver.
“Wait, it could talk?!” cried Adolf.
The dictator did his best as he found himself struggling against the small shaver in his restroom. Karl heard the commotion and decided to barge right through.
“Don’t worry boss, I’ll save you!” cried Karl.
Karl gasped at what he was seeing – an odd shaving device was attacking the German dictator!
“Mustache detected!” continued the sentient shaver.
At least three more German soldiers arrived, one officer had a mustache similar like the dictator’s and knew he had to protect it.
“Protect my mustache too!” ordered the officer.
The sentient shaver did its best as it moved closer and closer towards the dictator.
“Help me!” cried Adolf.
Karl lunges towards the shaver.
“Don’t worry boss, I got it!” cried Karl.
Adolf shook his head, the dictator never realized Germany’s most goofiest soldier was right outside his bedroom the entire time.
“This is the one that was protecting me?” asked Adolf.
“Sorry sir, it was his turn” replied the officer.
Adolf shook his head in disbelief, Karl was doing his best trying to pull the sentient shaver away from the dictator’s mustache.
“I’m doing my best sir!” cried Karl.
Karl rolled around the restroom, he eventually noticed a trash can would be perfect.
“I have an idea!” laughs Karl.
Karl then opens the trash can and then dumps the solar powered shaver right into it. He then sits on the trash can as Adolf and the others around him gasp in quite a shock on what just happened.
“He’s resourceful” remarked one of the other soldiers.
Adolf still wasn’t impressed despite Karl saving his trademark triangle mustache. The goofy soldier sat on the trash can.

I greatly enjoyed this! Light, crisp read with great rhythm and it's always fun to see absolute evil parodied in absurd ways. Real, a Good Soldier s
Sorry, anyways, I really hope you keep going with this!
