Summary

Seventeen-year-old Caleb expects another quiet overnight shift at the fading Bluebird Motor Lodge. Then, at exactly 1:17 a.m., the desk phone rings. A frightened girl begs him not to hang up. She says she's calling from Room 27. The motel only has twenty-six rooms. As a storm closes in and a mysterious stranger arrives asking for the impossible room, Caleb begins to realize the girl on the phone knows things she shouldn't, including things about him. Please Stay on the Line is a supernatural psychological horror story about loneliness, the quiet ways people ask for help, and how sometimes the most important thing we can do for someone is simply listen.
