The story begins in the Immortal Universe, where nine ancient clans have existed for countless years. These clans control different parts of the Dau Lao Continent, where countless sects, factions, and regions exist under their influence.

Our main hero, Luo Chen, comes from one of these ancient clans—the Luo Clan.

However, the Luo Clan is extremely weak compared to the other ancient clans. It possesses no ancient immortal bloodline and has very few powerful cultivation techniques or methods.

Luo Chen's father, Luo Jin, is the leader of the Luo Clan. Luo Chen's mother died when he was born, leaving Luo Jin to raise his son alone.

Luo Jin's cultivation is at Time Realm, Grade 6, out of the nine grades of the Time Realm.

The Time Realm is the second level of cultivation.

Its grades are:

- Time Grade 1: 10-meter time-sensing range

- Time Grade 2: 30-meter range and the ability to slow time

- Time Grade 3: 60-meter range and the ability to accelerate time

- Time Grade 4: 100-meter range and the ability to briefly freeze objects

- Time Grade 5: 200-meter range and the ability to affect multiple targets

- Time Grade 6: 350-meter range and the ability to create a Time Field

- Time Grade 7: 500-meter range and the ability to reverse small events

- Time Grade 8: 750-meter range and advanced time manipulation

- Time Grade 9: 1,000-meter range and the ability to create a complete Time Domain

Luo Chen, however, is considered extremely weak. He has no immortal bloodline and appears to have no cultivation talent.

But Luo Jin loves his son and has never cared about Luo Chen's weakness since the day he was born. In his heart, Luo Jin believes that his son possesses talent greater than anyone else.

When Luo Chen was six years old, his father often carried him in his arms and cared for him deeply.

Four years later, when Luo Chen was ten years old, Luo Jin decided it was finally time to teach his son how to awaken his Spirit Bead.

Just as Luo Jin was preparing to begin, an old man suddenly appeared.

He was the First Elder of the Luo Clan. His expression was tense as he approached Luo Jin.

"Leader, five men from the Xuan Sect have arrived."

Luo Jin looked at him seriously.

"What do they want?"

The First Elder hesitated before answering.

"They gave us two choices. They said that if we don't hand over our Soul Beads, they will destroy the Luo Clan."

Soul Beads were extremely rare treasures on the Dau Lao Continent. After a cultivator awakened their Spirit Bead, Soul Beads could be used to help them break through the Spirit Realm and increase their cultivation.

Many sects and factions traded valuable treasures with ancient clans in exchange for Soul Beads.

For the Luo Clan, these Soul Beads were one of its few remaining valuable resources.

The clan was already weak. It had very few powerful cultivators, and its foundation was nowhere near strong enough to resist a powerful sect like the Xuan Sect.

The First Elder lowered his voice.

"Leader... Xuan Dao is standing at the front of the group. His cultivation is at Time Realm, Grade 9 Peak. The other four are all at the Spirit Realm."

Luo Jin's expression became serious.

A man stepped forward.

His name was Xuan Dao.

He looked at Luo Jin coldly.

"What have you decided?"

He paused before continuing.

"Hand over the Soul Beads, or watch your clan be destroyed."

Luo Jin clenched his fists.

He knew that the Luo Clan could not fight the Xuan Sect.

After a moment of silence, Luo Jin finally gave them all of the clan's Soul Beads.

Xuan Dao took the Soul Beads and turned around.

"Let's go."

The five men left the Luo Clan and returned to the Xuan Sect.

Luo Jin sat heavily on his chair, shocked and angry.

The Second Elder looked at him.

"Leader..."

Luo Jin looked up.

"What should we do now? Luo Chen hasn't even begun cultivating."

Luo Jin remained silent for a moment.

Then he said,

"We still have some Soul Beads left. We will use them for Luo Chen. We must make him strong enough to break through the first level."

Luo Jin looked toward the sky.

"I hope... and I believe that he can do it."

The Next Day

The next day, Luo Jin called Luo Chen into his room.

He placed his hand gently on Luo Chen's hair and smiled.

"My son, today I will teach you how to completely awaken your Spirit Bead."

Luo Chen smiled happily.

"Father, I won't disappoint you."

Luo Chen and Luo Jin sat on the ground.

Luo Jin began forming hand seals while Luo Chen carefully watched him.

"To awaken your Spirit Bead, you must first enter a state of meditation."

Luo Chen closed his eyes.

He slowly calmed his breathing.

Suddenly, he felt as if he had entered another mysterious space.

In front of him was a red bead floating in the darkness.

Luo Chen slowly reached toward it.

The moment his finger touched the bead, it suddenly began to glow.

A small amount of red energy emerged from the bead and surrounded Luo Chen's body.

Outside the mysterious space, Luo Jin watched his son carefully.

Luo Chen remained motionless with his eyes closed.

Then Luo Jin suddenly felt an intense aura.

His eyes widened.

"The Spirit Bead... has awakened!"

Luo Chen slowly opened his eyes.

He stood up.

Red energy covered his body, flowing around him like flames.

Luo Jin's face filled with happiness.

"Very good, my boy!"

Luo Jin took out a box and handed it to Luo Chen.

"These are Soul Beads. They can help you break through the Spirit Realm and increase your cultivation through each grade."

Luo Chen took the box.

"Thank you, Father."

Luo Chen returned to his room and sat on his bed.

He took out one Soul Bead and placed it in his hand.

He released his spiritual energy toward the bead.

The Soul Bead began to glow.

Its energy slowly entered Luo Chen's body, flowing through his meridians and veins before finally entering his Spirit Bead.

Luo Chen began cultivating.

Three days passed.

After continuously absorbing the energy from the Soul Beads, Luo Chen suddenly felt something change inside his body.

His Spirit Bead had completely transformed.

A powerful energy erupted from within him.

Breakthrough!

Luo Chen had finally reached the Spirit Realm, Grade 1.

He was extremely happy.

He immediately ran toward the main hall, where his father and the elders were gathered.

"Father!"

Luo Chen rushed toward Luo Jin and hugged him.

"I finally broke through!"

Luo Jin smiled proudly.

"Very good, my boy."

He placed his hand on Luo Chen's shoulder.

"Luo Chen, I am truly proud of you."

Luo Chen smiled brightly.

Meanwhile, at the Xuan Sect...

The five men finally returned to the Xuan Sect.

Xuan Dao entered the sect's main hall and approached the leader.

He bowed slightly.

"Leader, we have returned with the Soul Beads."
