Chapter One — The Boy With a Thousand Dreams
Ashly was a young boy with a mind full of dreams.
Every night, he would lie in his bed and stare at the ceiling, wondering about his future. He had so many questions about life, his purpose, and the person he was meant to become.
One quiet night, Ashly looked toward the darkness and whispered:
“God, are You really listening to me?”
The room remained silent.
There was no thunder. No bright light. No voice coming from the sky.
But somehow, Ashly felt something inside his heart.
A quiet feeling.
A feeling that seemed to tell him:
“I am here.”
Ashly closed his eyes.
“Then why can't I see You?” he asked.
Again, there was silence.
But this time, Ashly smiled.
Maybe God didn't need to be seen to be real.
Maybe God was already beside him.
Ashly began thinking about all the dreams he carried inside his heart. He wanted his life to mean something. He wanted to make people proud. He wanted to create stories, music, and ideas that could inspire others.
But sometimes his dreams felt so big that they frightened him.
“What if I fail?” he wondered.
“What if I'm not good enough?”
He looked toward the ceiling again.
“God, if You really have a plan for me, please help me find it.”
That night, Ashly didn't receive an obvious answer.
But something changed.
For the first time, he decided that he would stop waiting for everything to make sense.
He would begin walking.
Even if he couldn't see the entire road.
Even if he was afraid.
Even if he made mistakes.
He would keep going.
Ashly closed his eyes and whispered one final prayer before falling asleep:
“God, wherever my journey takes me, please walk with me.”
And somewhere deep inside his heart, Ashly felt a little less alone.
His journey had begun.
