One moment,
I lay in silence,
A burden I can't lift,
Nor can I say.
A silent cry,
Quiet tears shed within,
Only One can see,
Only One can understand.
Then a flicker of His Word,
His promises,
His love,
Changed everything.
That heavy burden
Turned to ease,
Knowing within
That this soul isn't alone.
For I have One
Who can change it all.
