Summary

After everything that has happened, Raven is brought back to Ash Fortress once again—but this time, the commander has a very different kind of punishment in mind. A mission that will send Raven after one of the most dangerous creatures in the land. A mission he won't be carrying out alone, and one that will uncover more secrets about the war, the Hell Gate, and a mysterious entity lurking beyond what anyone understands. But just when Raven thinks he has everything under control, someone joins the mission—the last person he ever expected to see... One hundred soldiers. One deadly mission. And a journey no one knows where it will lead. This time, Raven isn't setting out just to complete a mission. He'll have to face his past, his choices, and truths that perhaps were never meant to be uncovered. Because sometimes, the most dangerous thing isn't the monster you're hunting... It's what hunts you along the way.

A heavy blow struck the cabin's wooden door.

BAM!

Raven immediately took a step forward.

His grip tightened around his sword.

Slowly, he placed his palm against the door.

He held his breath.

Waiting...

For any sound...

Any movement...

Any sign.

But...

From the other side...

There was nothing.

Only the sound of something heavy and metallic scraping against the ground in the wind.

Grrrrrr...

Raven's brow furrowed.

"That sound..."

Suddenly—

A terrifying roar tore through the silence of the night.

So close...

The windowpanes rattled.

A moment later...

The entire cabin shook from a tremendous impact on the roof.

Dust rained down through the wooden beams.

Raven instinctively looked up.

His eyes locked onto the ceiling.

...

The roof.

Someone...

Or something...

Was standing on it.

At that exact moment, Arsham jolted awake.

He rubbed his half-open eyes and grumbled sleepily,

"Can a guy get one damn night of sleep around here or what?!"

He fell silent for a few moments.

Then frowned.

"Raven...?"

No answer.

This time, his voice sounded more serious.

"Raven..."

...

"RAVEEEEEEN...?"
