The Mystic Poet: David
David created three poems in a span of 30 minutes with his favorite black pen that has the perfect grip attached to it. He is always writing and yet, he doesn't know he is a De La Soul Child. It's no wonder why he is able to effortlessly express his mind with no care of the world around him, except to express his immediate thoughts. A mystic poet, should you say.
David while in his kitchen, starts to recite his written poems aloud. "Yes, I am David, for I am not lost, I am now a young adult searching for his soul through these words I will recite, it hopes I set another part of me free. A lost soul I am not, you'll see.
I Wonder if They Knew
A site of despair,
At others’ misery,
I gaze into the blue sky,
Wondering if I am the site of despair,
And others’ thoughts of misery,—
interacting with my mind,
a few voices at a time is all I can handle.
Can I wonder without worrying about waves of emotions colliding in the act the inspiration,
I lost the will to do for a moment,
Not inspiration,
An assortment of emotions collide,
Not inspiration,
An assortment of emotions reside in every ache of my lower back,
As I complain through the pain.
Tik-Tok,
Another clock,
I’ve lost time again.
It’s 11:34 PM,
It feels like 2010,
Graduated high school,
“Where will you be in 10 years, they asked?”
14 years later,
I wonder if they knew I’d be in my head,

Mocking Birds Sing a New Breath
I hit the cross road again,
Let me take you on a ride of manifesting,
Not the usual positivity,
In this moment,
I shape my reality,
Singing a song in my mind of what it would feel like not to cry,—
A mocking bird,
Silent cries inside my mind,
Thoughts of tears,
Dry eyes appear.
Let me take you on a ride of manifesting,
Not the usual positivity,
Mocking birds sing,
Their voices ringing alive,
Gazing for a new life,
A breath of fresh air,
Mocking birds sing a new song,
A sing of life,
Do not let it pass you by.
Every mocking bird soars into the sky,
Awakened by a new breath of life,
Flying through existence,
Seeking more of this so called,—
Meaning of life.

Midnight Star
As midnight appears,
Stars brighten up the sky,
Leaving me to wonder,
If they know,
I am a star.

Divided
If you feel enough you'll cry,
You are weak inside,
If you give up I'll cry,
Stories they tell themselves in order to make you die inside,
A shaken soul,
Divided in between the lines of the road,
Divided between time.

It's gloomy out once again. With blue skies, humidity taking over my body, and my A.C is broke, oh dear!
"Again with your poetry. Can you speak to me in plain terms my son. It's 6 AM and you rid of poetry when you can create a sentence. You can create a sentence, no?"
"Yes Mom."
"I wasn't looking for an answer."
"Ok." David started to walk.
"I'm not finished speaking with you. All I am saying here is that it is 6AM and you speak of poetry. As much I love it when you use you artistic abilities to communicate with me, I'd also love it if you spoke less of poetry and more of a man. For if that means anything to you, ayy."
With frustration, David sat down at the kitchen table and said. "I mean it was a simple poem. It's not like I ignored you Mom. I mean, --never mind. Can I get breakfast at FlickBirds?
"Go for a wash and I'll think about it."
David, feeling frustrated with his mom, walks away and recollects his thoughts alone. "Mom can be stubborn at times. I mean I don't think she means it. Maybe she is having a bad day. A bad day, every time I speak of poetry just to create beautiful moments of,--well, dual times,--sometimes. If the sky is blue today, I might as well sing like a mockingbird with tunes of mellow mellow jazz, the sound of grandpas, "Ouu-Wuu, let me dance, let me dance to this fine tune." He used to say that a lot, until his mind gave in like flowers, except his won't grow back. I mean maybe through my words, I too can heal a blinded fool. Did I mention he used to argue up and down with his tongue almost out of his mouth, just yelling, and it wasn't poetry. Some say he is better off, he will live longer if he can't express unnecessary anger. But every time I see him, his eyes bulge into rage like a menace from some T.V show I watch called, "Bulged Eye Menace".
"Wait, maybe I should join The Poetry Diary Club at The Poetry Castle Hill of Mystic Poetic Studies Society."
David stops and picks up his phone, with his forehead clinching and thinking, while searching for his poetic friend Nario Star.
Nario Star is apart of The Poetry Diary Club at The Poetry Castle Hill of Mystic Poetic Studies Society. Some say really great things about this school, but unfortunately, some have experienced very strange, out of the ordinary events. Some studentsI Wonder if They Knew

chapter 3
Nario Star is apart of The Poetry Diary Club at the Poetic Mystic Society Hill. Some say really great things about this school, but unfortunately, some have experienced very strange, out of the ordinary events. Some students claim there is a hidden room that leads to a larger establishment called, "Poetic Mystic Establishment: a society for the poetic mystic gift," which was said to have been shut down in 1884, due to the unwavering claims students make today. Although, these claims have never been proven to be true, even when the Poetic Mystic Establishment shut down, it shut down for private, unknown reasons. Hereafter, The Poetry Diary Club at The Poetry Castle Hill of Mystic Poetic Studies Society was built, and it was said that the building that once held the Poetic Mystic Establishment is said to be behind this secret room, but no one knows or understands why. Some students claim mystic poetic masters in magic are the only ones who can access this room and it is said that students have been able to enter this room, but these same students were never heard from again.
David's dials his friends number once more. "Nario! I need a favor!
