Summary

One night, Jenny was stabbed. She survived, but her emotions didn't. For two years she lived in silence, numb to everything, taking care of her dying mother. Now her mother is gone too. Chapter 1 Night Everything Broke

A happy family like every other, all the days were filled with love and happiness until one faithful day .

Mom found out that dad had another wife with children older than me, they got into a fight, mom took the knife next to the table, jenny woke up to meet her parents fighting she entered the fight and tried to make her parents stop, the next thing she saw her self on the ground with the confused look on her parents eyes, the last thing she heard was the sound of the ambulance siren .

The doctors did everything they could to save the girl. After many hours of surgery and careful treatment, they managed to stabilize her condition, but they warned the parents that the injury had affected her brain.

“Your daughter survived,” the doctor said gently, “but the trauma she suffered was severe. The areas of her brain responsible for processing emotions, memories, and certain sensations may have been affected. When she wakes up, she may not experience things the same way she did before.”

The parents looked at each other in fear.

“What does that mean?” her mother asked.

The doctor sighed. “She may have trouble feeling or expressing emotions. She may not react to pain, sadness, or happiness in the way people normally do. This does not mean she has lost who she is, but she will need time, care, and therapy to adjust.”

“Will she be okay?” the father whispered.

“She is alive,” the doctor replied. “That is the most important thing. But her recovery will be a long journey.
