Between Seen & Unseen.
I don’t really know where to begin.
Perhaps that is the first lesson life teaches us: there is no map showing us exactly where we will go. Like the evolution of humanity, we cannot truly know what comes next until we reach it.
Yet whenever faith and science meet, the gaps between what we know and what we believe can feel like deep pits of muddy sand. The harder we struggle without understanding, the deeper we sometimes sink.
But perhaps the answer is not always complicated. Perhaps it is simply a matter of perspective.
Everyone sees life differently. Some call it chance. Others call it destiny. Some find their answers in science; others find them in faith.
For me, my first answer began with God.
I do not believe that science is a bad thing. On the contrary, science allows us to discover, question, and understand the world around us. But I also believe that we can choose to trust both science and faith without forcing one to destroy the other.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is a matter of faith, but the historical reality of His crucifixion reminds us how severe the methods of punishment were in those times. Jesus came as a human being, teaching us that we are children of God and calling us to believe and remain faithful until the end.
Yet belief is something we sometimes struggle with until we experience something that changes the way we see.
For me, there was a moment I cannot easily put into words. It was an indescribable feeling of lightness—as though, despite pressure, difficulties, and anger, everything would somehow be alright.
Like a bird in the sky, moving freely without carrying the weight of the world.
But I also learned something: sometimes, when you begin drawing closer to God, temptation does not simply disappear. The struggle can become real.
Evil thoughts and wrong actions may still exist, but repentance exists too.
When you truly regret what you have done and turn back to God, the door is not closed.
The Bible says:
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”
— Matthew 7:7
Perhaps faith is not about understanding everything before we begin walking.
Perhaps it is about trusting enough to take the next step.
So, if there is one thing I have learned, it is this:
Trust firmly. Seek sincerely. Resist temptation. And whatever project, dream, or journey you begin, put God before it.
Because perhaps the road does not become easier because there are no obstacles.
Perhaps it becomes easier because you now longer believe you are not walking it alone.
