Chapter 1. The Break Up
As the sun began to set at Winifred University, Canberra, Australia. Students begin to exit their classrooms to their dormeteries and others to the other various homes. Winston was kneeling in front of Emily at the university's main entrance. People crowded there because Winston was known as a school's plastic collector he collect plastic bottles and does other job for a living. Emily on the other hand is one of the schools beauty. When ranked, Emily falls at the fifth position. Everyone was astonished to see the dirtiest guy on campus begging Emily to come back to him.
Emily: how can I be your girlfriend again? I was foolish back then, for you to treat me with your small money.
Winston: you know I only love you and if you want more money, I will work hard to get more money for you.
Emily: use that money to pay your fees and buy good clothes for yourself. Besides I've gotten a rich guy who can take care of me.
Winston: remember what I've done for you, I bought you nice bags and clothes and nice food I bought f....
Emily: you call that food? That junk and that second hand clothes you bought and you call that nice. Do you know the price of my designers clothes and bag? It can even buy a whole life.
As they were talking, a Lexus pulled over and a masculine guy between the age of 23 to 26 stepped out. He was wearing a red and black Gucci top and a black diesel trouser he was holding a latest Samsung phone showcasing it to the students while approaching Emily. The guy was Williams, he was a popular rich guy at the university. His parents owns a fancy restaurant in a city.
Williams: babe, who is this madman and why is he kneeling in front of you ?
Emily: This is the Winston guy I told you about.
Williams: Oh, that's idiot who made your life miserable, right?
Emily: Yes darling.
Williams: (turn to Winston) I've been looking for you for quite sometime. I will forgive you if you lick the ground.
Winston ignored him but Williams forced him to lick the ground and kicked him several times in the face and stomach until he vomited blood. Williams later helped Emily but the car and vroom, they drove off. The crowd started dispersing while Winston kept lying on the ground trying hard to get up.
At Kings dorm, room 4; three guys were working on a project work they've been given . Then a short young man came knocking at the door. Kelly, a tall handsome fair guy in glasses opened the door. "Your friend Winston is lying at the entrance being beaten", said the short young man. Michael a 5.2 feet guy and John, short and fit came out to listen to what was going on. After the head what had happened to Winston, they run to the entrance and when they got there, the saw him lying there. They tried to speak to him but he couldn't answer them. They helped him back to the dorm.
After some days, Winston was healed but his heart was still broken. Emily to him was the fourth person he liked after his parents and sister.
Western went to school a week after. Students started laughing at him as soon as he got to campus. His class was even worse, apart from his friends, the rest of his classmates were teasing him and although he was abashed but he didn't care.
The first lesson started, the subject was English. Everyone loved English especially the boys because of the teacher. She was tall and elegant and also the beauty of the University. As soon as the heard the sound of a heels outside the classroom, they seated at their best position and became quiet.
Miss Isabelle stepped into the class, she was young with hairy legs. She was fair and having the vibe of a princess. She was 30, and she wore a light white floral straight dress. Mess Isabelle called Winston out after placing her bag on the table.
Miss Isabelle: Will you tell me what happened yesterday or I should squirt it out of you.
Mess Isabelle is friendly only to Winston in the whole university and people don't understand why.
Winston: Miss I, I, was being beaten by William. I swear I didn't do anything to him.
Miss Isabelle: if you say so, and I will look into this myself (looking fiercely at him)
They went inside together after they finish talking, the students looked at Winston in an envious way and they were wondering the relationship between the two. After the end of the class, Winston went to his workplace where he was a cleaner, a hotel near the University. He started cleaning several rooms, then later to the lobby.
As he was cleaning the lobby, someone kicked him hard from behind and he fell pushing the mop bucket filled with water on the floor. He turned to see the person and it was Emily in a friend.
Emily: hey poor loser, are you mocking the floor with your butts? And why is this place wet, wait to you see how I get you fired.
She sat on the floor and started screaming and crying. People started coming closer and the receptionist run to her to ask the reason for her scream. The manager arrived quickly and asked the receptionist why did gathered here.
Manager: What is wrong miss (looking at Emily sitting on the floor)
Emily: This idiot (pointing at Winston) decided to pour water on the floor for me to slip (she started crying)
Manager: Mr Winston, why would you do that?
Winston: I didn't do anything, she bumped into me and the.....
Emily's friend: He is a liar, I saw the whole thing and what's my friend said was true
Emily: You have to fire him or I will call the police
Manager: Can we please talk about this, miss.
Emily stood up and took her phone trying to call the police
Manager: Miss please stop and we will fire him. (he said terrified)
Manager: Erhm... Mr Winston, you are fired due to your carelessness.
Winston pleaded with the manager but it was to no avail. The manager called the guards on him and was thrown out.
