Summary

Nythara Velcairn was raised on one truth. Alpha Saevric Drelvaren destroyed her bloodline, stole her family’s territory, and became the monster she was taught never to forgive. So when Nythara falls into enemy hands, she expects a prison cell or an execution. She does not expect Saevric to touch her and awaken a black crescent mark beneath her skin. His reaction frightens her more than the mark itself. He knows what it means. Generations ago, the same mark appeared between their bloodlines shortly before an entire pack vanished. Now it has returned, binding Nythara to the Alpha she hates and awakening powers neither of them fully understands. Their wolves are drawn together. Their injuries begin to echo across the bond. Alpha commands fail against Nythara. And the longer they remain apart, the more violently the mark reacts. Everyone calls them mates. Saevric insists they are something far more dangerous. Searching for answers forces Nythara deeper into enemy territory, where buried records begin dismantling everything she believes about the war, her family, and the man she has blamed for years. Then she discovers the most terrifying truth of all. Saevric may never have been her real enemy. And someone who loves her has spent her entire life preparing her to kill him.
