Prologue
The courtroom was half-full. The judge stared directly at the accused individual. “Walte Klaus,” he loudly announced, “you are accused of murdering a young by the name Holly Lucas, how do you plead?”
The accused man looked down at the courtroom floor, avoiding eye-contact with the judge.
“Klaus?” the judge murmured,
There was no reaction from the accused man.
Under the assumption he was ignoring him, the judge then repeated himself and addressed the accused man by his full name, “Walter Klaus!”
Immediately then, the accused man looked up. He looked like he was about to respond, but he kept his mouth closed. He had a look of reluctance on his face; he clearly didn’t want to be where currently was.
