Summary

Meet the Glavans Book 7 in the Karuna Rising universe and the sequel to Life, Love, and Darya. The Glavan women don't do things halfway. Darya fixes bodies for a living and feelings without ever admitting it. Adelina breaks bones for fun and is about to decide if she's ready to run the whole department. Iryna hunts, intimidates county sheriffs into incoherence, and might — might — be catching real feelings for the one person on the mountain who isn't afraid of her. Nataliya heals people with crystals, breathwork, and a whole lot of honesty about what she's actually doing. And Yeva just wants to build a life online that her family might actually understand. One sprawling mountain compound. Five women. Zero filters. Between sibling beatdowns, a sponsorship that shows up as an actual truck, a sheriff who won't take no for an answer, and a bed-and-breakfast that may or may not be run by something more than human, Meet the Glavans is the loudest, funniest, most tightly wound-together book in the Karuna Rising universe yet — proof that chosen family and blood family aren't always different things, and that nobody does chaos, or love, quite like the Glavans. Family isn't chosen. This one just refuses to be tamed.

Prologue

Aisha Steele had just made a record 8th successful title defense of the TCWL Women’s World Television Championship when she grabbed the microphone and made a challenge.

“WHO ELSE IS THERE?” Aisha said in front of the Gateway Center Arena crowd. “I’VE RAN THROUGH THE ENTIRE ROSTER! I’VE MORE THAN EARNED A REMATCH WITH BROOK-”

All of a sudden a familiar catchphrase echoed throughout the arena.

“LET ME BE....YOUR VALENTINNNNNNNE...”

The crowd, surprisingly, absolutely lost it.

Victoria Valentine, after a four and a half month stay at Karuna Healing Collective’s main location, emerged from the backstage curtain, and pointed at the custom pink TCWL Women’s TV title belt, which Aisha was still carrying, and was technically made for her.

“OH MY GOD!!!” Jake Rogers screamed on commentary. “AFTER NEARLY FIVE MONTHS, THE RING COMMANDRESS HAS RETURNED PEOPLE, AND SHE’S AFTER WHAT’S LITERALLY, RIGHTFULLY HERS!”

Darya Glavan and Severina Juric were sitting in the front row at that Saturday’s taping of TCWL Stampede.

“She looks great,” Severina said. “What’d you do, Darya?”

“Oatmeal, Severina,” Darya said.

“Ewww,” Severina said.

As Victoria made her way to the ring, she turned around, smiled, and nodded at Darya.

Darya smiled back.
