CHESS TREASURE

♟️ ISSUE #1 — THE LOST GEM

Opening Scene

In an alternate universe, an old man sat across from his young grandson.

Between them was an ancient chessboard.

The grandson smiled. He had nearly won.

Only one move remained.

He moved his piece forward and proudly said, “Checkmate.”

The grandfather looked at the board silently.

Then he noticed something the boy had missed.

With one small move, he turned the entire game around.

Checkmate.

The boy stared at the board in shock.

The grandfather smiled.

“Never celebrate too early. Till the end, be careful.”

The words stayed in the boy’s mind.

⏳ Years Later

The boy had grown into a young man.

His grandfather, now very old and near the end of his life, called his three sons to him.

Beside his bed was the same ancient chessboard.

He pointed toward it.

“There is a lost gem hidden somewhere inside the old castle.”

The three brothers looked at each other.

The grandfather continued:

“It isn’t just a treasure. It has been lost for generations.”

He touched the chessboard.

“The clues are here.”

The brothers examined the board, but they couldn’t understand it.

Before they left, the grandfather gave them one final warning:

“If you find the gem... don’t trust everything you see.”

🏰 The Search

The three brothers entered the abandoned castle.

Each discovered a different clue from the chessboard.

But the castle seemed to be designed like a giant chess game.

One brother followed the king’s path.

Another followed the knight’s path.

The third discovered a hidden passage beneath the queen’s symbol.

They separated.

And one by one, they never returned.

By the end of the night, all three brothers were gone.

The castle became silent again.

Then...

A chess piece on the grandfather’s board moved by itself.

CLICK.

The final shot reveals something written underneath the board:

“THE GAME HAS ONLY BEGUN.”
