Yawning into my hand I try to focus on the task at hand getting this nigga away from me to get to my next class it's only the first day of college and boys already sweating me , like can you at least let a girl get to know her surroundings or offer to show her around before you go staight into the 'lets Netflix and chill'.

"Ya hear me girl? " Gold teeth says trying to get my attention

"Nah, but gotta go to class you know " I slip away from him rolling my eyes only to see him approach another chick I shake my head heading to my next class .

If anyone told you college was easy they damn well lied im just a freshman but taking these advance classes I was forced into by Blu and Traci my adopted parents , they said the better my education the better job I could get the faster I could pay them back for 'living the best life' come on who says that to a seventeen your old . Being nineteen now I moved out and decided I wanted to live on a college campus I've always been the shy girl maybe this could help me loosen up a bit .

I walk into my last class for today thank Goodness , Linguistics was my last class and I didn't see the point of me taking this class but okay !

I slide into a desk in the middle of the class room , watching as students fill into the desks a caramel toned girl slides into the desk beside me and looks my way smiling .

"Hey i'm Ashleigh" She reaches out to shake my hand and I gladly return .

"Im Trinity , nice to meet you" maybe I will make a friend usually girls tend to hate on me for reasons unknown it's not a problem I don't care but it would be nice to chat with someone now and then.

" Why haven't I seen you around campus ? I mean I know everything and everyone but this is my first time seeing you " she raises her arched eyebrow at me in question

"I just got on campus about a day ago and I still have to get my dorm room im kind of a late beginner . Im meeting up with someone name Karie today to find out my information..." My cheek heats up as she stares smiling hard at me

"You have a slight accent , where are you from ?" Ashleigh asks rolling her eyes at the gawking boys in front of us.

"I was born in Liberia but moved to the U.S at the age of seven " I smile thinking about my native home

Ashleigh begins to talk when a man who I assume is the professor walks into the room and everyone stops talking .

"Alright class today we are going to write a 5-" he stops as the door opens and walks in a tall chocolate and light skin guy they strut in and nod .

"Mr.Wright & Taylor im glad you have graced us with your presence. " The professor glares "now take your seat"

I glace over at them the tall lean dark chocolate one with a bandana tied around his head with a piercing in his nose and he looks all so right I look away to find Ashleigh looking at me with a sly smile.

"The chocolate bar is Zion and the light bright is Lance don't be late like them you won't get away with it . They get special treat .. don't ask me why " she leans back over and listens to Mr.Tanner .

The bell rings and ever one leaves out of the class Ashleigh waits for me while I gather my things , I asked her to show me where Karie would be she decided to show me.

"Here is my number , when your done give me a text" she waves bye and leaves me Infront of a greyish building label C I walk in and see a women in her forties at the round desk In front of me .

"Hi.. im looking for a Karie " I tell her unsure

She smiles and nods her head "well you've found her darling , how may I help you"

"I just got here yesterday and they said to talk to you about dorms ? " I explain to her

She nods typing away on her computer she then frowns "im sorry we are all out of girl dorms and the unisex dorms just got filled.. but there is a small studio apartment about three minutes from here if your interested ?" She looks up to me raising her sharp eyebrow at me

"How much is the rent?" I hope not to much please...

"For the first four mouths it's free since you're a student but after that it's 300 a month " she runs her hands over the keyboard awaiting my answer.

Well this could be my last chance and I am not calling Blu or Traci for help with this so put on your big panties Trinity and let's get going!

I nod "I'll take it " I smile as the words leave my lips I know I've made a good choice.

I walk into the apartment complex struggling with all the books I had to pick up , it's a greyish painted building around some stores close by the school im happy.

It's two story apartment complex im on the second floor room 2B trugging up the stairs I finally reach my door dropping the books down with a thud as I fish for the keys in my purse .

I hear laughter coming up the stairs I push the key in to unlock and it won't turn , wrong key ?

I try another and the same thing happened I now am getting fustrated I try another key okay now I am sure the first one was the right one !

"Having Trouble ?" a deep smooth husky voice said behind me sending chill down my spine i turn around and see the tall chocolate dude from class.

I nod not trusting my voice as he nods his head and I give him my keys and chuckles was I staring I look away .

"The trick is to pull the knob in and then unlock " he does just that and the door opens

I jump giving him a side hug before quicky letting and backing away mumbling sorry at my embarrassing actions he gives me the keys .

"Need anything im in 2D don't hesitate to knock ight " he grins and a dimple is created in his left cheek he walks away .

I smile and grab my books going into my new apartment closing the door behind me thinking about the Chocolate God and his dimples.
