Online Dating

Cherryville, Pennsylvania

Victor's POV

I was eating a meatball sub from Subway, and drinking a Coke. It was a beautiful Fall-like day here in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. My dog, Dover, wanted my sub. He knows darn well he can get sick if I fed him that. "Boy, eat your own food," I said.

After I was done eating, I went on my computer and logged onto eHarmony. I was speaking to my online girlfriend from Connecticut. Her name was Cheryl, and she lived in West Haven.

Cheryl: Babe, I wish you would come visit me. I would love to see you.

Victor: I know, I want to see you too. But I am all the way here in Pennsylvania.

Cheryl: I know.

Victor: I don't have a job, but my neighbor will lend me money for a hotel, and whatnot. I'll visit you tomorrow, how does that sound?

Cheryl: Sounds great, see ya then!

"Wait, you're going to Connecticut?" Dover asked.

"That's right," I nodded.

"Ooh, can I come?"

"Sorry, boy," I said. "Most hotels don't allow dogs."

"Fine," sighed Dover.

I found a good hotel in Milford, Connecticut. I didn't like the idea of staying in New Haven, because of the crime. I booked a room at the Holiday Inn Express in Milford.

Connecticut, here I come!

the dog talks. I think my cat talks to me. I think we both need help. Are you trying a 'straight' story (except for the dog). no...I'll believe it when I see it. I'll wait to see where this is going. oh and...get a job. stop mooching off your neighbor. lol good start, now where are you taking it. this better not be the end. I will hurt you.

Shawna: I really enjoying reading this book, I read it twice back to back just in case I missed something lol. Mira & Devryan are actually perfectly fit one another, even when they tried to deny it. You could tell that he wanted her, human or mystic, he was just scared to admit it to himself. She was scared...
