Chapter 1

Celeste

There are three things everyone knows at Ashford Academy about me.

One: I always get what I want.

Two: pink is my color.

Third: nobody says no to Celeste Miller aka me

Well... almost nobody.

Hi, my name's Celeste Miller, I study at the Ashford Academy. My favorite color is pink, I have really long blonde hair and sapphire blue eyes, as dad says, and yes my life is all about spending time with my girlfriends. I'm the queen bee of Ashford Academy and not to mention I'm a ballet student, though I take my ballet classes at another academy, The Bellarose Ballet Academy.

I open the eyeshadow palette and glance at myself in the mirror and dust some pink eyeshadow on my eyelids. I adjust the two little pink bows in my hair before grabbing my bag from my vanity and head downstairs. My phone is buzzing from notifications though I don't bother check. As soon as I enter the living room I find my mother, Isabella Miller, already dressed for work, her hair is in a perfect slick back bun and she's wearing a crisp cream suit.

"Good morning, mom" I say to my mother as I pour myself a glass of orange juice.

She looks up from her phone "Celeste, honey, you're coming to the office with me today" my mother announces.

"Oh? But why mom?" I ask, sipping my juice, the idea sounding already boring. Me sitting in a office filled with lifeless colors and dull people? No, that's a no. "I have a meeting with my business partner today and I thought what better time to introduce you to her, she's also the one who funds The Bellarose Ballet Academy since she found out you're in it, she's a great friend of mine" I hear the boring things my mom says, I finish the juice and put the glass down but my eyes sparkle at the mention of ballet and the academy I study in. I might be barbie but at least I have a passion, ballet is my dream it's my first love, I dream of becoming a ballerina one day. Hearing about the woman who funds the prestigious ballet academy I study in I say "fine mom I'll come".

My mother takes her briefcase and walks outside towards the black SUV I follow behind, one thing I don't like about this SUV is that it's black it should've been pink. We get in the backseat as the driver starts the car, I pick up my phone and text my friends that I won't be coming to school today. My mom is engrossed in her laptop and I look at her, no matter how much I try to mask it or act like I don't care but it hurts, don't get me wrong my parents love me to death but they're workaholic, dad is overseas for his law firm while mom is here most of the time but she's engrossed in her tech company.

The ride goes on with silence and the driver parks in the underground parking lot of the office. I get off, my pink dress looking out of place in this black and white office but it doesn't bother me, we get inside the elevator and my mother clicks the second highest floor, her personal floor and office.

"Celeste, sweetie, you have to behave okay?" My mother asks with concern.

I roll my eyes and check my pink manicured nails "yeah, mom".

The elevator stops and we get out and walk towards her meeting room, as soon as my mother pushes open the large, Mahogany doors and I see the woman inside sitting in one of the chairs I freeze.

Because holy shit that woman is sexy, she's hot, like really hot. I suddenly snap put of my fantasies about the woman Infront of me and a deep blush creeps up my neck. Gosh why do I find this woman hot? No no no no, don't tell me I'm rediscovering my sexuality! I thought I was straight!.

I look at the woman again her long, jet black hair is in a slicked back ponytail tail she's wearing a black blazer and black dress pants. Though she's wearing nothing under the blazer because I can see her cleavage and the lace of her black bra.

Her features are sharp, striking green eyes, high cheekbones a perfect nose and dark red lips that I can't help staring at

In simple words this woman is the most striking woman I've ever seen.

But that shouldn't be my concern right? I shouldn't care if she's hot or sexy, I shouldn't be looking at her lips, but the problem is I do, and I'm realizing that this woman is going to be my downfall.

My mom nudges my shoulder and I snap out of the trance and look at the woman "H-Hello I'm Celeste" I say and my voice cracks slightly.

"Hello Celeste, I'm Veronica" she drawls in the most sexy and husky voice. she looks at me from top to bottom and I get a little nervous then I remember who I am and I regain some of my composure. I sit down in one of the chair Infront of her as my mother takes a seat besides me.

"Veronica, this is my one and only daughter Celeste" my mother tells Veronica but she doesn't take her eyes off me. "So Celeste I heard you study at The Bellarose Ballet Academy?" Veronica asks me. "Yes Ms. Voss" I say politely smiling.

"Oh darling just call me Veronica" Veronica says and my breath hitches at the way she calls me darling.

My mother and Veronica start talking about business as I pretend to be engrossed in my phone, but every once in a while I steal glances at her and she catches me everytime with a smirk.

I don't know how the hell my life just took the wildest turn, or how me, a straight girl is all hot and brothered by a woman. I just know that Veronica Voss is not a temporary or background noise in my life now.
