Chapter 1:THE GIRL ON THE FIRST BENCH.

EPISODE 1 — THE GIRL ON THE FIRST BENCH

9th standard ka pehla din tha.

Nayi class, naye faces, aur ek ajeeb si nervous feeling.

Sapna school ke gate se andar aayi aur dheere se apni classroom ki taraf badhi. Class mein already kaafi students apne friends ke saath baatein kar rahe the.

Lekin Sapna ka wahan koi friend nahi tha.

Woh chup-chaap jaakar first bench par baith gayi.

Usne apna bag rakha, notebook nikali aur pages palatne lagi. Bahar weather cloudy tha. Pata nahi kyun, lekin usse lag raha tha ki ye nayi class uski life mein kuch naya lekar aane wali hai.

Thodi der baad Maths sir classroom mein aaye.

"Good morning, everyone."

"Good morning, sir," poori class ne ek saath kaha.

Sir ne board par chapter start kiya aur kuch questions solve karne ke liye diye.

Baaki students questions samajhne ki koshish kar rahe the, lekin Sapna ne woh chapter pehle hi complete kar rakha tha.

Usne calmly saare questions solve kiye.

Phir apni notebook lekar sir ke paas gayi.

Sir ne notebook dekhi aur smile ki.

"Very good, Sapna. Saare answers correct hain."

Sapna ke face par halki si smile aa gayi.

Us din se Maths sir ki nazron mein Sapna ek achhi student ban gayi.

Lekin Sapna ko nahi pata tha ki us din class mein sirf ek teacher ki nazar us par nahi padi thi.

Ek aur person bhi use notice kar raha tha.

Deva

Woh class ka hi ek ladka tha. Sapna ne use pehle bhi dekha tha, lekin dono ne kabhi properly baat nahi ki thi.

School ka din dheere-dheere khatam hone laga.

Last bell bajte hi students apne bags lekar classroom se bahar nikalne lage.

Tabhi bahar achanak bahut tez baarish shuru ho gayi.

Sapna window ke paas khadi hokar baarish dekhne lagi.

Uske paas umbrella nahi tha.

"Ab ghar kaise jaungi?" usne mann hi mann socha.

Maths sir ne use dekha.

"Main ghar par call kar deta hoon."

Sapna kuch bolne hi wali thi ki tabhi peeche se ek awaaz aayi.

"Sir, main ise chhod deta hoon."

Sapna ne mudkar dekha.

Deva khada tha.

Sapna thodi surprised hui.

"Sir call kar rahe hain na, main chali jaungi."

Sapna thoda attitude mein boli,

Sir ne kaha, "Haan, tum iske saath ja sakti ho."

Deva kuch nahi bola.

Bas chup-chaap khada raha.

Aakhir mein Sapna uske saath classroom se bahar nikal gayi.

Dono school ke gate se bahar aaye.

Baarish bahut tez thi.

Deva ne umbrella khola.

Aur pehli baar...

Sapna aur Deva ek hi umbrella ke neeche saath chal rahe the.

Dono ke beech almost silence tha.

Bas umbrella par girti baarish ki awaaz aur road par paani ki halki si chhap-chhap.

Kuch der baad Deva ne silence todte hue poocha,

"Tum nayi ho?"

Sapna ne uski taraf dekha.

"Haan."

"Achha."

Phir dono chup ho gaye.

Sapna kabhi road ki taraf dekhti, kabhi baarish ki taraf.

Deva bhi zyada kuch nahi bol raha tha.

Dono ke liye ye bas ghar tak pahunchne ka ek simple sa moment tha.

Lekin kabhi-kabhi life ki sabse important stories...

ek bilkul simple moment se hi shuru hoti hain.

Thodi der baad Sapna apne ghar ke paas pahunch gayi.

Woh umbrella se bahar aayi aur Deva ki taraf dekha.

"Bye."

Deva ne smile ki.

"Bye."

Sapna ghar ke andar chali gayi.

Door band hone ke baad bhi baarish ho rahi thi.

Aur bahar Deva kuch seconds tak wahi khada raha.

Usse khud nahi pata tha ki kal se cheezein thodi different hone wali hain.

Ek umbrella.

Do ajnabi.

Aur ek kahani...

jo abhi shuru hi hui thi.
