Girl in the dojo part 1

She is like Juliet,

a girl with green belt,

She's a girl I can't get out of my head,

From the first time I laid eyes on her,

I've been captivated, enchanted and amazed.

Her beauty shines,

Radiant and warm like the sun in June,

I would like to get to know her,

Hell, even ask her her name.

But I'm just a white belt,

Broken inside and outside,

Imperfect being.

Talking to her seems inappropriate in the dojo

Yet she has become my obsession.

Why we always want things we just can't have?

All I can do is to steal glances at her,

While her hips cut the air as she flows through kata.

Staring too much would be rude.

But I just can't help myself,

I don't want this story to end before it even begins.

So I would just enjoy her presence

My secret Juliet.
