Chapter One — 8 July 2025

It was a random Tuesday night in Da Nang.

8 July 2025.

I wasn’t looking at that night as the beginning of anything. It was simply another night, another bar, another person I happened to meet.

His name was Gg.

A British guy, someone who had taught himself how to build websites and was creating his own way of making a living.

At the beginning, I didn’t know what he would become to me.

I didn’t know that I would remember his name this clearly.

I didn’t know that I would eventually remember dates.

I didn’t know there would be a day when I would sit and wonder how someone could look at me and lie so easily.

Back then, there was only the beginning.

And beginnings are dangerous because they are innocent.

You don’t know what you’re going to have to survive yet
