they returned.Except one was missing.The largest star in the constellation Veyra.Scientists immediately detected an anomaly.The missing star had not exploded.It had not collapsed.It had been moved.Someone—or something—had taken it.Elena stared at the astronomical data.“That shouldn't be possible.”Kael stood beside her.“That's what you said about ghosts.”She gave him a look.“You're crystal.“How big is it?”Astra grinned.“Bigger than yours.”Kael laughed.“Of course it is.”---CHAPTER TWENTY-ONEThe Last AstrariLyra prepared to leave.Elena asked:“Where are you going?”“Home.”“Where is home?”Lyra looked upward.“Where the first stars were born.”Elena smiled.“Will we see you again?”Lyra looked at Astra.“Yes.”Then she became light.She transformed into a star.The star rose into the
