Chapter 4

Four — The Stranger's Message

The morning after the collapse, Lena's name was all over the news.

The Girl Who Predicted the Disaster.

Some people called her a hero. Others believed she was somehow involved.

Ethan stayed by her side, but Lena couldn't shake the feeling that something much bigger was coming.

That night, she found a note slipped beneath her door.

There was no signature.

Only a warning:

If you want the truth about your dreams, come to the old clock tower. Come alone.

Ethan didn't like the idea.

“You shouldn't go,” he warned her.

But Lena insisted.

When they reached the clock tower, they entered cautiously.

Footsteps echoed through the darkness.

Then, a figure emerged from the shadows.

“I've been waiting for you, Lena,” the stranger said.

“For sixteen years.”
