“Who’s there?” Elaine responded to the knock on the door, but no reply, so she stood up from her bed as she walked towards the door and grabbed the knob. The knock “knock” repeated again as she opened the door. Then she said with a surprise expression on her face.

“Surprise!”

Said Hilda. Hilda!” she said. “You didn’t tell me you were coming. Um, I wanted to surprise you, besides aren’t you happy to see me?”

“Of course I am. Make yourself comfortable, or did you need to freshen up?” said Elaine.

“Um i'll do that, in a few minutes, but first I’ve got many fairy-tale stories to tell as they walked into her room.

“There’s this guy I met at the mall, and he’s like every lady’s dream. He’s got these charming green eyes, wavy hair, nice chin, muscular body, cute face and a girl this guy smile Could make you get lost in thoughts.”

“And guess what?”

“What?” Elaine replied with a curious smiley face.

“He collected my phone number.”

Hilda poped, stressing the “number” and rejoicing. “Girl, you’re lucky, although you haven’t got to know him yet.” Hilda replied"yap I don't know him yet.

“The only thing I get to know about him was that his name is Eric and his phone number.”

“Stressing the number?”

“So, has he called you yet?”

“Not yet,” said Hilda, “but I know he will soon.”

Like girl, this guy is—I don’t even know the word to describe him—gorgeous, elegant and handsome him. They both laughed as Hilda got up from the couch, walking into the bathroom feeling queency, while Elaine walked into her room.

It’s been past several weeks. Elaine hasn’t been herself. She’s always feeling quiet, awkward of herself. "Damnation I think, it’s like a damnation on earth.

This were the words Elaine said to herself whenever she remembers the worst day of her life in the past, which brought her unforgettable memory flashing before her eyes, making tears rolling down her cheek

Making her life a misery but the most compromising of all which rendered Elaine sleepless at night, lost in thought during the day and sucidal at time.

was the worst night she always refer to it as the unfixable night. She had to face the wrath of her emotions.

**Pov: The unfixable night.**

It’s 5:00am the alarm on the bedside table beeped continuously as Elaine stretches her hand and turned off the alarm. She buried her head with her pillow as she heard another beep again, but this time it washer phone ringing.

As she grimaced and picked up the phone to hear who was calling. It was unknown.

So Elaine answered the call.

“The voice said, ‘Hello dear, did you miss me?’”

Then Elaine realised it was **Aria**, the deputy of the **crimson Circle**, a deadly fraternity known for their rebellious acts.

Then she listened to what Aria had to say.

Aria continued with an intoned voice:

“Elaine, so you’ve decided to become invisible, i do hope you know what you’re doing, you do know I’m not someone you can just disappear on and expect there to be no consequences”.

You do suppose ghosting the freternity Would be the perfect way of running. There are always consequences for a wrong choice…”

“I’m not going to keep chasing you. Elaine, you may run but you cannot hide.”

Elaine hanged up the call as her trepidation seized,her heart hammering against her ribs. Her inner voice murmured"she found me, I'm finished. Disoriented, she fumbled for her phone scrolling aimlessly through her contacts as indiciduon overwhelmed her. Her hand feeling so sweaty. It was a horriwing way to begin her day, with a threatening call that left an ominous shadow over the hours ahead.”
