Introduction

MY FAVORITE ENEMY

INTRODUCTION

Every college has its own stories. The unforgettable friendships. The ridiculous rivalries. The parties that go too far. The secrets whispered between classes.

And the people who somehow turn ordinary days into memories you never forget. For four young adults, college is about to become all of that—and something far more complicated.

Two brothers. Two sisters. Four completely different personalities...

The two brothers have been inseparable for years. They know each other's secrets, have survived countless arguments, and would choose each other without a second thought.

Their younger sisters are no different. Best friends. Partners in crime. Practically impossible to separate.

But there is one problem.

Their worlds have always existed separately. Until college changes that.

The first is arrogant, composed, competitive, and almost impossible to impress—the kind of person who walks into a room and somehow owns it without trying.

The second is bright, stubborn, outspoken, and completely unwilling to let anyone have the last word—especially him.

They've known each other long enough to have formed one very clear opinion:

They don't get along.

At all.

Every conversation becomes an argument. Every competition becomes personal. Every encounter somehow ends with one of them annoyed.

And yet, college has a strange habit of putting the wrong people in the right places at exactly the wrong time.

As in that two find themselves pulled into the same circle, college begins to unfold around them—new friendships, rivalries, parties, competitions, unexpected alliances, jealousy, protectiveness, and moments that leave more questions than answers.

But while they are busy living what they believe will be the best years of their lives, something much bigger is quietly waiting beyond the college gates.

Something none of them knows about. Because sometimes, the biggest twists don't begin with strangers. They begin with the people you already know.

And this story?

It begins with two people who can't stand each other.

What happens next is something even they won't see coming.

CHARACTERS

🖤 Family 1 — The Knight Family

A powerful, well-established business family. They are wealthy but private, polished, and respected.

Father — Adrian Knight, 49

A successful businessman and the head of the Knight family. Calm, intelligent, disciplined, and highly observant. He rarely raises his voice because his presence is enough to command attention. Strict when necessary, but deeply devoted to his family.

Mother — Elena Knight, 46

Elegant, warm, and socially graceful. She's affectionate with her children but isn't afraid to call them out when they're being ridiculous. She has a playful side that comes out especially around her husband and children. Very perceptive—she notices things others miss.

Son — Ethan Knight, 22

Ryan's brother figure or we can say best friend and the Ava's brother. Confident, competitive, intelligent, protective, sarcastic, and effortlessly charming. He appears composed, but around his closest friends, his mischievous side comes out. Extremely protective of his younger sister.

Daughter — Ava Knight, 20

Ethan's younger sister and Isla's best friend. Cheerful, energetic, witty, and slightly mischievous. She loves teasing her brother and is always ready to drag her best friend into some kind of college adventure. She's warm-hearted but surprisingly sharp when someone crosses a line.

🤍 Family 2 — The Bennett Family

A wealthy family with a successful business of their own. Unlike the Knights, they're more outgoing, social, and relaxed.

Father — Daniel Bennett, 50

A respected businessman with a charismatic personality. Friendly and approachable outside business, but extremely strategic when it comes to work. He loves teasing his children and enjoys seeing them succeed, though he can become fiercely protective when necessary.

Mother — Sophia Bennett, 47

Graceful, affectionate, and confident. She's the emotional center of the family and has a wonderful relationship with both her children. She's observant, witty, and has a habit of knowing when something is wrong before anyone tells her.

Son — Ryan Bennett, 22

Ava's older brother and Ethan's best friend. Easygoing, loyal, funny, and protective. He's the guy everyone wants around because he can turn almost any situation into a joke. But when it comes to his sister, his protective older-brother instincts immediately kick in.

Daughter — Isla Bennett, 20

Ava's best friend and Ryan's younger sister. Beautiful, confident, outspoken, intelligent, and fiercely independent. She's cheerful and fun with the people she trusts but has a sharp tongue when challenged. She absolutely refuses to lose an argument—especially to Ethan.

🔥 The friendship connection

Ethan Knight (22) 🤝 Ryan Bennett (22)

→ Best friends.

Ava Knight (20) 💕 Isla Bennett (20)

→ Best friends.

But...

The Knight family and Bennett family have never met (MAYBE 🫢).
