Summary

On a quiet, dimly lit night, everything felt strangely still-until I saw her. A girl, or something that only looked like one, was climbing a streetlight pole with unnatural ease, her movements twisted and inhuman. Before fear could take over, she dropped down in front of me, her eyes glowing and silently placed a cold, ancient bracelet in my hand. The world around me seemed to distort, and just as panic began to rise, a loud alarm shattered the moment-I woke up in my bed, heart racing. It was only a dream... or so I thought. Because lying beside me, real and unmistakable, was the same bracelet she had given me-waiting, as if it had followed me out of the nightmare. This story has reach top #1 in dark in genre and horror hot / new on Wattpad. ( Limited Edition ) This story is unique and sometimes confusing for the readers because if you read this story without reading it from beginning you may be confused.

The mysterious bracelet

I was alone at home while my parents were returning from Los Angeles. The silence of the house pressed in on me, each creak and whisper of wind sounding louder than it should. I felt a knot of unease tighten in my stomach, a creeping fear that someone might be lurking unseen. Despite the tension, sleep eventually claimed me, though it was restless and uneasy.

In the dead of night, I woke with a start, my heart racing, gripped by the chilling sensation that I was being watched.

So I got out of my cousy bed ,went down stairs to get myself some water. All of a sudden I heard a sound of someone knocking the of my house . I cautiously peeped through the window, searching for any sign of my parents.

I couldn't find my parents anywhere, so I gathered the courage to open the door. Outside, there were some dogs sleeping. I was sure that someone had knocked on the door earlier. As I walked down the street , I saw a girl climbing a streetlight pole.

Later, I realized that she was not human-she was a demon. I got very scared and ran back to my house to save myself. But it was too late. Suddenly, she appeared right in front of me. I couldn't even look at her because she looked so scary. Then she gave me a bracelet and vanished without any trace.

Out of no- where I heard the sound of an alarm which shattered my sleep, pulling me back to reality. Relief flooded me-it was only a dream. But that relief quickly faded when I spotted the same bracelet from the hideous girl resting beside me.

Relief which flooded me vanished as I saw the same bracelet given by the hideous girl resting beside me.

This creepy looking bracelet spoiled my whole day because I kept thinking about it all of the time.

My parents arrived home at morning and said that there flight was delayed , so they didn't come back home soon .

All of a sudden an idea struck my mind that why shouldn't I check the CCTV footage of my house.

As I wanted to see the CCTV footage, so I asked my mother for permission, but she refused without explaining why.

Her reaction only made me more curious, and I couldn't stop thinking about what might be hidden in the footage.

"Mom, please let me see it."

"No-you don't need to know."

Unable to ignore my curiosity, I quietly went and watched on my own, even though I knew I wasn't allowed to.

Something felt terribly wrong. A sudden shock ran through me, leaving me restless and uneasy. I kept moving in and out of the house without thinking, as if something invisible was guiding me.But nothing was seen in the CCTV footage.

With trembling hands, I picked it up-it ( the bracelet ) was ice cold.

Trying to make sense of it, I asked my mother if she had placed it there.

She looked at me, confused.

"I didn't."

Her answer made my heart sink.

Because if she didn't...

then who did?

Was it really a dream or something else?

To be continued...
